Casio Collection Women's Watch HDD-600-1AVES

The last Casio watch I bought was about 15 or so years ago. It cost around £15.00 and so it was very good value for money.When it finally gave up the ghost I thought with the passage of time it will be very expensive to replace and so I was pleasantly surprised to find this one so reasonably priced. Having received it I am more than happy with it although I wish the back light was a different colour as it can be difficult to read the time when using it - hence only four stars. However, overall it seems to be a good buy and if it lasts as long as the previous one I owned I will be very pleased.

I chose this watch because its got a light, and I liked the red flashes down each side of the strap. I also like the 10 second countdown circle on the face which is similar to the one in the film Blue Thunder. Its replacing a Sekonda one which is being mended, but I might wear this one every day in future as wearing the Sekonda one got it quite scratched.

There was a problem with the procurement of a wrist strap for my older Casio Chronograph and when I saw the special deal for this model At a lesser price than a replacement strap- No Brainer!!! So far so good! The main criterion of being able to see the time WITHOUT my glasses has been met!! HAPPY DAYS!!

I've been buying Casio all my life. They are durable and lightweight and ergonomic and this one is no exception. The picture is slightly deceiving however, the red parts are actually really dark and not so visible, the entire watch looks totally black from 10cm away.I still like it, hope it proves durable and long lasting.

After 2 good years the resin strap gave up on me. I just loved the watch but it's a shame it only lasted for 2 years. Even dough it has a warranty, this never covers the strap. How convenient... In the end Casio won again. This wasn't enough for me to avoid them and i had to buy a new watch 'cause putting a new strap can be as much expensive as buying a new watch online.

I bought this same watch about 8 years ago and battery has just run out. (The local watchsmith says that only Casio can replace it and guarantee water resistance,but cost would be prohibitive) I swim regularly and have worn the watch 24 hours a day. Very accurate, comfortable and has an easy to read dial. I am delighted to have been able to purchase the same watch again for virtually the original price. I would also award Watchshop 5 stars for their excellent service. Very competitive price, free postage and exceptionally prompt delivery - less than 24 hours!

A good watch, but only lasted 30 months. Outside the warranty period, I know, but who would expect the body to break off at the strap pin mount. Aside from that, kept reasonably good time

It is a watch that works fine, I have it for the time and date and it shows me that when ever I need it. That's what I bought it for and that is what it does.
