This is a good solid cricket bat mallet ideal for knocking in any decent cricket bat prior to its first use. It is well constructed and heavy duty and i imagine that it should last for years. I have no hesitation in recommending this item.

It is too much heavy.looks if I used to knock my bat maybe it will break my bat.

Just the Job
'Does what it says on the tin'. The head is carefully shaped to deliver the correct impaction to the cricket bat and , with its long handle, it is well-balanced and easy to use. This last point is important as knocking-in is recommended for up to 6 hours. Can also be used as a heavyweight gavel - you would certainly get everyone's attention!

Broke after few uses. Used gorilla glue, now it is good as new and does the job!
