The inverter looks well made; the plug for the cigar socket is a nice snug fit; the device itself has 2 USB-A sockets and 2 USB-C sockets (one giving 65w and suitable for charging my laptop). All the USB sockets worked properly, and when charging my laptop from the USB-C socket charging was steady, even with a UK Mains plug in one of the mains sockets. Two mains sockets seems a bit redundant, as I can only imagine ever needing one. Worked equally well when I plugged a mains charger into the mains socket. When charging my laptop the device got warm, but not hot. Also the plug in the cigar socket was also just warm - not hot. The cable was long enough to allow me to use the device with a computer from the front passenger seat - would have been fine with back passenger seat as well. A nice portable package, perfect for on the move. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a good power inverter that I frequently use when I go camping, it can charge up my laptop, camera battery and four usb devices all at the same time which I need. The power source can be your vehicle or a battery via a socket. It is small enough to keep in your vehicle under the seat. The only criticism I have is that unlike an earlier model which only had one socket and USB port it does not have a multi-socket option to take a two pin plug so it requires an adapter. If one of the two sockets was a multi-socket for two pin plugs for things such as a continental cool box it would be ideal.

Arrived very quickly (next day) and performs as advertised. It is fairly small, seems to be well constructed and it whirs audibly but quietly.The three-pin sockets provide mains-equivalent power to my laptop whilst the USB ports are sufficiently powerful to support the fast-charge feature of my phone.I bought this with the idea of being able to use my car as a mobile office but was concerned because I had seen several reviews which had said that the thing had failed to charge a laptop. Indeed I shared this concern when at first my laptop failed to register a charge. Ultimately I discovered that the thing just needed a bit of time to warm up. I drove around for a few minutes and when I stopped I noticed that my laptop was now charging.

Can charge my cordless power drills, and various other tools ,boil a kettle ,charge my laptop, and keeps my mobile phone and portable DAB radio charged .I have found that this is an excellent bit of kit to have ,I'm sure when winter comes I'll find more needs to use the inverter, heating up food and keeping me warm on the road .This has been a very well spent couple of pounds . It stopped working after the third time I used it with my laptop in the car. The power light keeps flashing on and off, the charge to the laptop goes on and off every couple seconds. Waste of money don't buy this product.

Being as I have to do a lot of work whilst travelling, there are occasions when I need to use my MacBook and the battery isn’t going to last the duration, so I needed something to assist me when a wall power socket isn’t available.This item is ideal and worked perfectly to allow me to spend 4 hours parked up in an area where I could not access a regular power supply and powered my MacBook to allow me to carry on with business as usual.It simply plugged in to my power supply (cigarette lighter) in the car and charged my MacBook.It has a switch on the side to power it on and also a little light which indicates when there’s power. It has 2 USB ports also which come in handy.Someone else reviewed theirs and said the power sockets were a loose fit - I can report that mine has no such problem and fitted very well with no risk of loose connections or the plug being dislodged - quite the opposite infact. It was a very secure fit that required a bit of a tug to separate the plug from the socket.It is a reasonably sized, light weight bit of kit which will fit in my glove box, under my seat, pocket on the back of my seat, door pocket or even in the pocket in the centre console.Would highly recommend to anyone who travels and needs to have a power supply handy.FYI this will not power hair straighteners and will likely blow the fuse in the car, so be sure to only use it for low powered things.
