How can this product be alcohol-free and contain 7% Ethanol as an active ingredient?

Amazon have entered the wrong product details. This contain no ethanol. Additionally, it only contains 0.06% chlorhexidine and not the 0.2% stated.

Not explicitly, but this will help keep bacteria and other stuff away, such as tartar etc. Which can lead to sensitivity. So in a way, yes. But it depends on your cause. Also the other answer is not quite correct. This is the Daily product. It isn't for treating gum disease/inflammation. This prevents it with a much lower amount of the active ingredient vs. their treatment product.
