This has quickly become a holy grail product in our household, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. I have very sensitive skin, and it’s incredibly hard to find a cleanser that doesn’t cause irritation or dryness — this one checks all the boxes. First off, it’s fragrance-free, which is a huge plus for anyone with allergies or sensitivity to scents. No artificial perfumes, no harsh ingredients — just a gentle, effective formula that actually respects your skin barrier. It contains hyaluronic acid, which is a game-changer. It helps retain moisture and leaves my skin feeling soft, supple, and hydrated — not tight or dry like so many cleansers do. After using it consistently, my skin feels calm, balanced, and smooth. I also love that it includes ceramides, which help restore the skin’s natural barrier and keep it protected. What I appreciate most is its versatility. This cleanser smells amazing! Apparently its similar to the perfume Acqua di gio and its just divine! Ive actually ordered a dupe of that perfume because I love the smell of this cleanser so much. Fingers crossed its similar. I wanted a gentle cleanser for the evening to remove the daily build up as I use a stronger AHA cleanser in the morning. This cleanser is so lovely and fresh. Leaves my skin very soft and feeling so clean. Great value aswell. Ill definitely be buying it again when I run out.

The texture is nice and smooth, it foams very well and leaves your face feeling fresh. The Durability of this product is great and the value is not the worst. Although because it is Hyaluronic Acid, if you have sensitive skin you are prone to breakouts. It is good to use 2x a week and not everyday. It definitely smells great and works well with the Neutrogena moisturiser.

I’m really enjoying this product. You do not need much to get good results, as a small amount covers the face well and foams up nicely. It feels good on the skin, and my face feels clean and fresh afterwards. Because you only need a small amount, it should last a long time, which makes it good value for money. Since switching over to it, my skin feels better, and it has become my go-to facial cleanser in the shower.

I pair Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Facial Cleanser with the water gel face moisturiser. Gives a good non-greasy feeling when applied. Soothes my face feeling fresh after applying. Good quality and value for money.

I’m disappointed in Neutrogena on this one - it’s full of chemicals, including the dreaded SLS, which most manufacturers are now avoiding like the plague as it’s so damaging. If you’ve got sensitive skin, best avoid this, it will flare up almost inevitably. Fortunately my skin doesn’t react but I’m in my 60s, my skin is much drier than it used to be and it needs hydration. I thought this would be perfect and I have other Neutrogena products so I’m usually a fan. But I now only use this at night, followed by an hyaluronic serum and a rich moisturiser, both by other brands. I tried using this in the morning but with a lighter, day moisturiser, my skin felt parched and papery by mid morning. I’ll persevere at night, as I may as well use it up - you get a lot in the bottle and only need a little to get a decent foam, plus this is cheap at £3.99 but I won’t buy it again. I’ll choose something SLS free and with far fewer chemicals. Oh the pump thing - doesn’t seem to open properly at all, first off, but if you unscrew it then screw it back on, it’s fine. Weird.

It leaves my skin so clean, bright and glowing. Feels so light but has a great effect. Highly recommended to those have sensitive skin.
