Highly recommended for design, quality and ease of use. Hallelujah! Could I just listen to bible for free from my phone? Sure I could, but the Meditation Bible (I purchased the NASB version) is tremendously easier to navigate from book to book, chapter to chapter and verse to verse. I keep it in a pouch strapped to my waist while washing windows. If there is a verse or two that I think I need to re-listen to, I simply reach into my pouch and without looking at the devise press the rewind button or the button to go back to the beginning of the chapter. It is that easy! Yes there was a little bit of a learning curve to make it that easy but listening from my phone is impossibility because of the nature of the touch screen. Another benefit of the Meditation Bible is that during my twice-weekly workouts at the gym I can focus on the word of God rather than the noise pollution. The meditation Bible is so light that it does not impede my workouts. I keep it in my pouch with the ear buds under my shirt with a paper clamp attaching the cord to my collar. I even jump rope with this setup! The ear buds are of good quality but I don’t use them because somebody from my family must have taken them. To replace them, which I would not have done if I still had them, I purchased the kind with the cloth cord which is slightly better for my activity level. When I listen at home without the ear buds, the speaker set at the loudest position is plenty loud enough so that I can hear it over the clanging of hand washing dishes, the sound of the laundry machines, dog barking and the dishwasher all at once. I highly recommend this item to anybody no matter what activity level or level of bible knowledge. I plan on buying the NIV, AMP and maybe the NLT version in the future. I sent an email to customer service to find out if there was a plan to add not only the current feature of an automatic replay from chapter to chapter but also from book to book and they were very responsive. I could go on and on about how this item has been a blessing to me. Oh, I did not mention that the navigation system for going from book to book, chapter to chapter and verse to verse as mentioned above is what the instruction manual calls the “simple method” of navigating through the books. There is also what the instructions call the “advanced method” but with a tiny bit of studying it works really easily. If I want to go to Exodus chapter 4, I enter numbers “102003” and hit the enter button. See the explanation below. “1” for Old Testament-------“02” for the second book within the Old Testament------“004” for chapter 4 within the book of Exodus------Hit the play button to get it started. If I want to go to Psalms chapter 141 I enter numbers “119141”and hit the enter button. “1” for Old Testament-------“19” for the 19th book within the Old Testament------“141” for chapter 141within the book of Psalms------Hit the play button to get it started. There is a little guide on page 4 of the instruction manual that numbers the books in order so that you can look up what number to enter for the book you want. The instruction manual is a perfect little 3 1/2X5inch size so that you can keep it with your Meditation Bible to look the book numbers up or if you have the books of the bible memorized, all you have to do is say them to yourself and count what number is assigned to the book that you want to listen to. For example: Genesis#01, Exodus#02, Leviticus#03, Numbers#04, Deuteronomy#05 and so on. The numbers start all over again in the New Testament for example: Matthew#01, Mark#02, Luke#03, John#04, Acts#05………. Jude#26 and all the way to the last book of Revelation#27. I carefully considered my purchase before buying this item and found that it was well worth the cost. The design will bless your life and of course more importantly, the word of God. This is an excellent product. The guy's voice is not annoying like some of the other ones. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. The charge lasts a very long time. I've showed mine to several people who have also bought them. The volume button works well. One of the best features is that where you leave off it starts again when you turn it back on. I listen to it as I go to sleep and I'm happy that the light turns off after 30 seconds, so it doesn't keep your room lit. As soon as you hit a button the light turns back on so you can see where you're at. I just use the buttons along the right side to go to the different books of the Bible or chapters. I don't use the number system. Highly recommend.

It's easy to operate, and I love listening to it. The reading voices are very clear and easy to understand, and it has a good speaker installed. I just have to learn to convert the books of the Bible to their numerical listening index, which isn't difficult, and besides, they include a copy in the user manual. I like that I can fall asleep listening to the Bible being read at night, and have it play all night while I'm sleeping, instead of the television or radio. I can put it in a loop so that it plays a particular chapter, or book, over and over all night, or will play straight thru the testament I choose. To do this I press the loop button 1, 2 or 3 times, and a corresponding number will show in the led readout. I hope that in the future the makers will include an option to choose a random range to listen to in a loop, e.g. Mark 2 - John 3. Also, it needs better earbuds; the ones included are pretty cheap, and I don't know how anyone can keep them in their ears. Luckily though, the earbuds is easy to remedy by just purchasing a better set. The battery life is really good and probably lasts about 12 hours. I've played mine several hours consecutively at night and I only used about 50% to 70% of the battery power. Also, I can play it through my vehicle radio while driving, via the auxiliary input, or just turn the volume up on the device and listen. I do, whole heartedly recommend this product. They come in several Bible versions, dramatized and non-dramatized. My son bought me the KJV, and now I bought the NKJV, ASV, and NIRV non-dramatized versions.

Birthday gift for my disabled hubby. He loves it. Wish I had bought a bigger case tho.

This is perfect for me. I have a terrible time pronouncing the names in the Bible. It is in a plain form and easier to understand. Great for all ages. I think this would be awesome for kids learning the Bible and reading along to help them with reading. My biggest hate is that this version cost so much more than the other Bible versions. I wish they where more affordable so I could buy several and share.

This was for my 90 year old Dad who loved to read the Bible, but can’t see or hear well anymore. He turns it on at night before bed and listens to a book a night. Sound is excellent and the narrator as well. Recommend for those that can’t read even large print.

I now own 4 versions of this particular Audio Bible Player (NASB, KJV Dramatized, KJV Non-Dramatized and the NRSV Dramatized). All have been purchased on Amazon from this seller and highly recommend the players as well as the company without reservation to any and all that love hearing the Word of God brought to life in a simple and effective way!

Really love this. Once you figure out how to use it, it’s great! Hope it lasts a long time! Just use the arrow buttons to switch books or chapters and you will do great! Sound has good volume! UPDATE: I’ve had this audio Bible awhile now and it works but from day one the headphone Jack never worked. When headphones are plugged in you still hear it normal volume through the unit speakers. I’ve had two now and same issue with both. I still love the unit!! It has great volume if you need it to be really loud. Have noticed it’s best to use the pause button to turn off. The battery holds a charge for a very long time. I’ve only had to charge it once since I bought it...I don’t use it daily but even being off it doesn’t lose the charge.

What I received was not as pictured. The red cross is only painted on, offset from centre of speaker holes and slightly crooked. The headphone jack has issues as at times when plugged in the sound still comes from the speaker rather than the headphones. On the positive side, battery life is good. Wish the buttons were backlit so navigation through files could be done in the dark, especially with a price of more than $100 per unit.
