The rest is fairly easily with or without instructions (if you're good with hands and have basic assembly knowledge) Once assembled and clamped to desk it holds quite firm. For anyone saying it's flimsy in comment section I believe just didn't do a proper unit inspection and tighten all the bolts. Products like this which have moveable parts to alter dimensions to ur liking usually come loose for you to position into place without having to untighten everything 1st. Making job easier.
