UK Seller Baby Sling Carrier Wrap, Newborn to 35lbs, Organic Cotton, Small/Medium or Plus Size, Black or Grey, Safety Tested

With my first child I was too nervous to try a sling but I wish I had gotten one now after trying this one.I'm a size 18 to 20 so was also nervous about finding one that would actually fit, especially after extra pregnancy bumps but the larger version of this sling is perfect. I have about a foot of extra material left over after double knotting the fabric. Baby is only 2 weeks old so once I start shrinking a bit I'm hoping there will be even more wiggle room.The fabric is really soft and stretchy enough to make it comfy for both me and baby. He fits really nicely and feels very secure. I've been dancing around the house with him in the sling this morning and he has barely moved.We had a c section again and 2 weeks out it is perfectly comfortable. It doesn't sit on or near the wound site and actually gives some support to my belly which helps with walking longer distances.Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about a sling. It's really easy to use, much cheaper than a fancy carrier and less bulky.

****Update: The seller was in touch with me immediately when I contacted them with my problem. The offered me a replacement straight away so I am happy with that.I will update on the usefulness of the wrap once I’ve had a chance to use it but the customer service is definitely great!Update 2: since having the baby I’ve had two months to use the wrap abs it’s excellent. Plenty of fabric i just double tie around my waist. It’s a bit warm on but I expect that’s the case with all wraps.I’m in two minds because I was really excited about this wrap due to all the positive reviews. I can’t comment on the usefulness of the wrap because my baby is not due until August. The fabric quality seems good. However the wrap arrived and had clearly been used. ( I’ve since found out this was Amazons fault not the company selling the wrap) It was stuffed lazily into its pouch which was missing the cover slip shown in the pictures. When I opened it the wrap had long brown hairs on it.... not ideal when you buy it for a newborn. Although I could probably wash it, I paid full price for it so I expected a brand new wrap! I have seen other reviews that mention good customer service so hopefully I will be able to resolve the situation and update this review.

I’ve come back to update after using this sling with my second baby. She’s a refluxy and colicky baby and this sling is a game changer. I put her in it and it’s like magic, she’ll stop screaming and fall asleep almost instantly. I still use the newborn hold which I don’t think this brand recommends anymore but it’s easy enough to look up. I just make sure I strictly follow safe guidelines and check on baby frequently. The sling is easy enough to use but I still have to look in the mirror/ car reflection when I’m putting baby in. Definitely changed my mind about this product. Big thumbs up from me.After receiving the product I received an email telling me to ignore a 'hold' on the instruction sheet provided as the lullaby trust no longer recommended this hold. No other holds were suitable for a newborn so it defeated the whole point of my buying it and I just use my baby carrier instead. It knocked my confidence in the product a bit. I might look at using it again when baby is a bit older but found the whole thing a bit of a faff. That said the material is nice and sturdy and the colour is fashionable right now.

DaisyGro was recommended to me by my cousin in America, after doing a lot of research it was clear that DaisyGro was the best baby sling on the market & I had to have one! My baby sling arrived and although I was worried about getting the positioning right the instructions were extremely easy to follow and within minutes I had my baby boy next to be and to top it all I had 2 hands free!!! As you other Mummy's know this is incredibly useful when you have a mountain of chores to do and an unsettled baby! My baby boy was super happy cwtched into my chest and was soon sound asleep allowing me to get all my chores done. I also managed a walk on the beach with him in the sling and my toddler holding my hand. Very precious being able to be so close to both my boys at once, and what's more I can just keep the sling on while my baby isn't in it as its very comfortable to wear, the material is really soft and of a very high quality.I HIGHLY recommend DaisyGro what a fantastic product, every Mummy should have!This will definitely be the gift I choose for all my Mummy friends to be.Thank you Jo Houghton for such wonderful creativity!

I cannot recommend this sling enough!! A must have for any new mum.I inherited a much larger sling when I was pregnant and thought that I was getting on fine with that one. Ended up buying this one as a “back up” for when the other one was in the wash. This one is a far superior product and “fits” me and baby better. I’m about a size 12 and quite petite and noticed that this one has far less excess fabric. Stays put and you don’t get any stretch/slippage when the baby is in there. Washes up really well and dries quickly.If you are reading this review pregnant and not sure whether to get a sling I would 100% recommend getting one! And don’t bother with the expensive ones.I found the sling very useful after having a c section as it distributes the weight of the baby much more easily. A sling means you can have two hands free (more time to eat!) and was a lifesaver in the beginning when we were still figuring out what on earth you do with a baby! Still works really well when the baby is overly fussy or wants a cuddle. I also use the sling when walking the dog (despite also having an ergo baby) and i feel very secure using it.

Yes yes yes! Light weight good quality organic material perfect for summer. Feels amazing. Wraps amazing. Baby loves it. Honestly I’ve tried a lot of different ones and this is by far the best. Easy to put on also. No negatives! Took me FOREVER TO FIND IN AMAZON THOUGH! Had to keep scrolling! Seemed like a lot of negativeswith other mainstream ones if you read reviews. I was always intimidated to use a wrap, but this is sooo easy and comfortable for me and baby! The material doesn’t get very hot on your skin, and baby doesn’t sweat while wearing it (granted it is winter atm) the material is stretchy and easy to wrap around you. He will fall asleep as soon as I tuck him in it, it’s so much more comfortable than the standard baby slings with the buckles. It just feels like I’m wearing a second shirt! I LOVE that it came with a booklet to teach you how to wrap it. That was super helpful! Great baby item for the price!

If you are contemplating purchasing a sling or a wrap, I would highly suggest it! We have used one since day one with our little one, and find it sooo useful for snuggle time, hands free holding, and even a nap time helper. I ordered the DaisyGro after using my (other brand) pre-wrapped sling for three months. As my little man is growing daily, our pre-wrap just seems to be getting smaller by the day, so I opted to purchase a sling that could grow with our son, and one that my husband could also wear if he wanted. Our DaisyGro was shipped very promptly after I placed the order, and was in our home within days. It comes with a handy illustrated diagram of how to wrap, and then there is a follow up email with youtube links to ensure you are comfortable wrapping up your sling. The DaisyGro is a long piece of material that comes in a snug little cloth bag, and can be taken with you on the go any where. We regularly throw it in our backpack when leaving the house just incase our little one needs some love or just wants out of his seat while we are out and about. Again, if you are contemplating purchasing a wrap/ sling, I would highly recommend the DaisyGro, as it is can be purchased at a fair price, comes with excellent customer service if needed, and despite the common belief it is hard to wrap... it is not. :)
