A Handy Item to Keep in the Car
I bought this because I had a slow puncture and discovered that my car's Fix & Go kit couldn't be used just to inflate the tyre without using the sealant as well. I didn't want to waste the sealant on a slow leak, as I'd rather keep it for a genuine roadside emergency. This turned out to be exactly what I needed. It was simple to use, inflated the tyre without any fuss and allowed me to keep topping it up until I could get the puncture repaired properly. It saved me from using my emergency kit unnecessarily, which was a big plus. The build quality feels good, it's easy to store in the boot and provides real peace of mind for anyone whose car doesn't come with a spare wheel. It's one of those items you hope you won't need often, but you'll be glad to have when you do. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation. It's a practical accessory that can save both time and money by preserving your emergency sealant for when it's really needed.

Handy, Reliable, and Easy to Use
The AA 12V Digital Tyre Inflator is one of those gadgets you don’t realize you need until you have it. Plugging it into the car’s 12V socket is quick and simple, and the digital display makes it easy to set the exact pressure you want. Just press start, and it automatically shuts off when the tyre reaches the target PSI—no guesswork involved. It’s compact enough to keep in the boot without taking up much space, but powerful enough to inflate tyres quickly. The built-in light is a nice bonus for emergencies at night. The cord and hose length are practical, reaching all four tyres without hassle. Overall, this inflator is well-made, easy to operate, and gives peace of mind on the road. A must-have for anyone who wants a reliable backup for tyre care.

AA Tyre Inflator works well.
Very efficient air pump. Power cord storage bay, missing a cover. Screw thread to tyre not as precise as a previous model that had a brass fitting. Easy to use and stops at pre selected pressure.

Peace of Mind
I love this tyre inflator. It works really well, is easy to figure out and great value for money. It's a bit noisy, but what do you expect for a tyre pump? The size is perfect as it fits in the boot of the car and rides around with me everywhere just in case it's needed. I also use it monthly to check tyre pressure.

Ditch the flip-lever clamps and get this! Faff-free, simple and fast!
Brilliant kit, great value, very quick and easy to setup and use, and has very clear and obvious controls/buttons making it very simple to use. The best thing about this inflator is the screw-on (threaded) valve connector, which I cannot stress the value of enough. Try to avoid a flip-lever clamp (the most typical kind you'll get), most digital tyre inflators for around £20 or so will have this and it's definitely worth spending a little bit more to have the thread on version as found on this AA inflator. Instead of forcing a spring-loaded clamp down at an angle, you can smoothly twist this brass fitting directly onto the tyre valve threads. It ensures the internal pin is engaged perfectly straight every single time, eliminating the uneven sideways pressure and sudden snap-backs that bend or jam valve cores. It's not expensive to have the valve cores replaced/fixed but a faff to sort out obviously. It's reasonably compact, not heavy at all so easy to keep in the car handy. It can also be used to inflate bicycle tyres. Looks pretty smart and has a useful light with several modes (generic illumination and also an SOS flashing mode). It inflates very quickly, and by slightly unfastening the threaded brass fitting you can also lower the tyre pressure and watch the live pressure on the device's screen. The auto shut off function means you can type your exact target pressure into the digital screen, turn it on, and it will automatically stop the moment it hits the correct pressure. Plugs straight into your car's 12V cigarette lighter socket. I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a faff-free, easy and reliable digital tyre inflator.

Excellent inflator
Excellent product. I have used a Michelin tyre inflator for the past 15 years + which gave very good service and eventually failed. This AA product is reasonably priced, and a big improvement over the Michelin with the benefit of technology advance. It plugs into the car's power outlet (aka cigarette lighter) in between the front seats. The electric lead is long enough to allow access to 4 wheels of a large car. The digital displays show pressure measurement in psi or bar or kpa. First, choose the desired pressure measurement by pressing button "M". Second, press the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired pressure level. Third, screw the connection onto the tyre valve, and the inflator will show the existing tyre pressure. Then press the "on" button and the device will inflate up to the desired level and automatically stops at that point. The buttons are big and easy to use and the display is big and clear. The noise is much lower than my previous Michelin. There is also a light for night time and a red light showing when the unit is connected to the power. The two cables go back in their areas easily. The only improvement would be a case of some sort. I'll keep mine in the yellow AA box.

Bruikbaar

Very disappointed. Difficult to attach to tyre valve. Previous one I had it pushed on and could be locked on. This one you have to fiddle with a screw and it takes ages to do and very fiddly. At 82 years old I find it almost impossible
