So I bought this after trying to find the PERFECT white bulb which had a good light pattern as I do a lot of country road driving and also motorway driving. I had previously tried cheap bulbs from eBay, other Philips bulbs and factory bulbs and they all paled in comparison to these! (Pun intended) These are VERY white, the whitest I've seen from a halogen bulb and really light up the road without appearing to be dazzling. I'm sure they will last a good year or two and I have already told others to buy these :). Just got these installed in my C250 Benz and simply AMAZING compared to OEM!** A: 6 years so far and love it :) **Q: Does this bulb requires a ballast? My mercedes 2014 glk 350 use H7 55w low beam bulb but amazon states that it does not fit my car.** A: This is an Halogen bulb for H7 55w, it doesn't require ballast, because this is for HID light bulbs. however, you need to make sure if your car uses halogen bulbs (H7-55W) or HID bulbs, if your car requires HID bulbs (H7-55W) this light bulb doesn't fit your car, but if your car requires halogens it is the best choice. Cool white color, not blue not yellow at all. I strongly recommend this light bulb. **Q: How long do these lights last?** A: I bought these lights fro my BMW 328i for low beams on Jun-02-2013, and these are working very good so far, it's cool white and very bright, however from other cars with sunlight the light looks like ice blue it's really cool, also keep in mind that I used my car on weekdays for commuting work 45 min, to work and 45 min going back home **Q: Philips stop Diamond Bulbs production more than 6 months ago.
