These nutritional yeast flakes are a great addition to my kitchen. They have a pleasant, cheesy and slightly nutty flavour that works really well sprinkled over pasta, salads, popcorn, or mixed into sauces. I like that they’re a simple way to add extra nutrients and plant-based protein to meals. The flakes are light, fresh, and easy to use straight from the container. They dissolve nicely in warm dishes too. If you enjoy savoury flavours or follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, this is a very versatile ingredient to keep on hand. Good quality and good value.

This is my favourite nutritional yeast which I have repurchased many times as it is great value for how much you get, it lasts a lot longer than the pots you buy in the supermarket as it is a big bag. Tastes cheesy and nutty and is great for adding into sauces or soups or just sprinkling on top of dishes as a cheese alternative. I always add this to my mac and cheese to help the sauce thicken up a little and get that extra cheesy flavour that vegan cheese can miss out on.

I was deeply disappointed with the item when I saw the date. As a result, only 3 stars. However I had opened the packet prior to seeing the expiry date. I hadn't tried it though. A refund was quickly and efficiently supplied by Amazon. Many thanks Amazon. As I have decided to leave a review, I felt that I at least needed to taste it, since there's a star question above on flavour. A small taster was enough to be able to say that the flavour is very pleasant, although a little mild with a hint of cheese, however the flakes are wonderfully crisp and crunchy, seriously yummy. The milder flavour may be the result of the date, but possibly the flavour increases once added to food. I'm sure these flakes will enhance anything they are mixed with without overpowering the food or drink. They dissolved very easily in the mouth. I will re-order with the hope hope of receiving an appropriate sell by date My usual purchase is Braggs (American) and they give much more information on what is NOT contained in the nutritional yeast. Useful. Their BBF date is 23/04/2022. Can't really comment about that timeline in connection with this Whole Earth packet, The product is made in Estonia and is Non GMO.

Great for making dairy free sauces 'cheesy'

We bought these as part of my young son's therapeutic diet, to help manage his severe eating disorder and allergies. We'd tried the big brand readily available in supermarkets first. I'll admit, at first, I wasn't sold on the taste. On their own, they're definitely not great, so don't be put off by that. Once I'd tinkered with adding them in as a cooking ingredient, I was sold. Then we looked into more affordable bulk options and came across these. Taste wise I think they're identical, but better value for money, and we now have them on subscription. We now use them in almost everything, not just for our son. In sauces, soups, bolognese, or sprinkled on top. It adds a flavour that can be almost cheesy, nutty, mushroomy - perfect for white sauces! - or sometimes we chuck it in when the recipe is just missing... something.

Good B12 boost for vegetarians Tastes soemewhat cheesy sprinkled over food, but better getting proper vegetarian cheese, especially if you like melted cheese! Bit expensive Too tip...pack is narrow, so best to decant out into a glass jar to save struggling with a spoon and having flakes falling all over the place!

I add it to my salad or sprinkle over bolognes that adds cheesy flavour to the dish. I've been buying this brand for a few years. I believe it also has a positive impact on my health.

I use it to prepare some of my keto diet dishes. Besides its nutritional benefits, I like the slight cheesy taste it adds to some of my dishes.
