Excellent for poultry bio security. This is always my ‘go to’ product. I always have a tub in stock. Couldn’t be without it. Comes in a strong & sturdy plastic tub with a good quality plastic screw on/ off lid. Has detailed instructions on the tub. Includes a blue plastic measuring cup inside, which is the scoop to be used for diluting with one litre of water for most uses ( but not all) Smells clean & fresh & is an excellent product! Good value for money considering what it does!

Excellent disinfectant. We use it in our lambing sheds and apply via a back pack sprayer. It's easy to mix up,turns pink when it's ready to use/ the right solution and smells nice. It seems to be really effective,we've had no cases of Cocci,joint ill or watery mouth since using this.

Virkon S is a great disinfectant and so easy to use. It can be dissolved to make up a spray, which is an effective cleaner/disinfectant in food preparation areas and kitchens. We also use it to clean up after pets "accidents". It is approved for use in animal houses or biosecurity foot baths if you have livestock etc. This large tub makes up into a large volume of disinfectant but is convenient for storage and economical in use. Thoroughly recommended.

Preferred product for disinfectant

Great item for cleaning poultry houses! Seems to work as described. Easy instructions to know how to mix and use.

Have used this for the past 4 years and can't fault it. Easily mixed it can be put through a pressure washer, hand pump sprayer, back pack sprayer or even a watering can. When mixed with water it goes pink and smells great, a lot nicer than any other heavy duty disinfectant that I've used. If you have any left over it will keep for about four days. The way I use Vircon S is after pressure washing the areas to be cleaned, mix up the amount you think you'll need in a bucket. Let it sit five minutes then stir it again. All the wee gritty bits should have dissolved by this time so you can pour it into which ever dispenser you choose. Give the area to be treated a good soaking, don't be miserable with it. I will then leave it sit for about three hours. I don't rinse it off after application. Animals can be let back onto the area after this time. I use this on aviaries housing raptors and have never had any problems whatsoever.
