The case was brilliant. Plenty of room for a weeks worth of clothes. Can be wheeled in the airport. And light enough to go on our backs when we were on the tube.

Adequate, and did the job well. Handle stem seems a bit flimsy is the only reason for the 4 star but this does not distract from the fact that the bag did the job well for what I wanted.

I can carry this bag in my hand, on my shoulder or wheel it behind me. Fits in aircraft overhead and satisfies even Ryanairs size limits. Totally versatile. Not the strongest construction but I've had it on 4 return trips abroad without problem. The only things missing are internal straps to stop my shirts bunching at the bottom. Solved this by using packing cubes with a wire hanger inside to stiffen them.

It is lightweight but of poor quality. When closed the handle pulls the material as it is going to tear. Easy to use as a backpack

Great size and weight, I managed to fit loads into it and with it being so light in weight it made it easier to pack all the necessities into a smaller bag. However, the handle snapped off in the airport prior to my departure flight! Didn't outright annoy me at the time because I was in an alcohol induced merry bubble. The journey home is a different story!! I unzipped the back section to reveal the handles that are designed to turn it into a back pack. Ended up having to struggle with it on one shoulder because using both shoulders meant the wheels collided with my backside and pinched the skin as I walked!! All they needed to do was put a secure fitting on the handle and this would have been a brilliant product. It's a major flaw and extremely inconvenient leaving me sadly disappointed with the item.

Bought 4 of these many years ago. 1 needed replacing so immediately looked for the same one to replace it with. Quality is even better and it is just as sturdy as before. I've seen complaints that it doesn't stand upright on its own but I only have that problem if my packing is not equally dispersed. The handle does feel less secure than I'd like, but the handles on all the other cases have lasted years so I've no reason to think this one won't be the same. Would be great if there was also a 4-wheeled version but that's just my preference.

Lightweight and loads of room. This is the second one I bought as I had one for a few years and took it everywhere but eventually a small tear came in the bottom and it was a light colour so got very dirty. I did not mind that I had to buy a new one as I had got so much use out of the old one and it did me so well while interailing and I even managed to fit a one person tent an inflatable mattress and clothes for 5 days in it. The backpack straps are very handy in situations where there is not a good road like gravel or cobbles or lots of steps. This new one has a slightly longer handle which was needed as my old one was a bit too short. The only down fall is when you use the backpack for a while the wheels can press into your back which gets uncomfortable, so I only use the backpack straps when it is really necessary.

Reading some of the reviews, I don't know what people really expect for the price!! For me, I am very satisfied, overall. I've used it a couple of times to go abroad now and it does a decent enough job. Of course, it probably wouldn't withstand heavy usage and it suffers when overpacked, but you're not going to find many cheaper ways to cart this much luggage on wheels and have it as carry on luggage! On the plus side, I find this case much easier to wheel along than the 2 previous 'hybrid' cases/backpacks I've owned. On smooth surfaces, it is virtually silent and very smooth! As others observe, the frame is ONLY on the back. This makes the case less sturdy (but still stands up, esp if you know how to pack with the heavier items at the bottom), but this gives it some unexpected pluses too: (1) it is more lightweight, which is helpful when there are the inevitable steps (I bought this exactly because I have a bad back); (2) stores away in a slimline way when not in use. There are straps to use it as a backpack in a zipped compartment if you wish to use it this way (but I haven't). Overall, the size is great and allows me (I like to travel light) to take on hand luggage only for a 1 week trip as long as it's not to a very cold destination! Little tip: To help the case stand up of its own accord, I recommend the use of travel cubes to organise your belongings inside! This case nicely fits the smallest & second to smallest cube, with additional space left for a small handbag, so you can easily stow away the trolley in the overhead and keep a small bag conveniently with you on the flight! Anyway, by having things well organised inside (i.e. things nicely stacked/sat on top of each other when moved upright), the trolley will stand of its own accord. Packing cubes are ace! On the minus side, and the reasons I didn't give this 5/5 are that the teeth of the zip have gone a bit on one side, so that I can only pull 1 zip so far, but I can close it still with the other zip. I'm very careful with zips and would never force it, so not sure how this happened very early on my 1st trip. It's just a cheap zip after all. Also, once the handle is pulled up, it's a bit fiddly to push back down again, especially as you don't want to use force on it. For these reasons, I would only recommend this trolley for light or occasional use. However, for the money, this is a great lightweight option!

This is a surprisingly well-designed, sturdily-constructed, very light weight carry-on bag which meets max carry-on requirements of most airlines. This bag is very light weight (black models - 3 lbs 8 oz, purple model - 3 lbs 6.6 oz, other colors (different link, slightly newer design) - 3 lbs 4 oz to 3 lbs 4.6 oz), but is constructed of surprisingly sturdy material. The wheels are in-line skate wheels and roll very smoothly. They are spaced far enough apart that the bag is stable while rolling a 20 lb load and can manage curves and steps easily. The zippers aren't super-heavy duty, but are definitely stronger than Cabin Max brand and don't snag. The sturdy handle easily moves up and down, locks in place enough for pushing the bag (if kept at an angle), and is comfortable to use. As other reviewers have noticed, some of these bags do not always stand upright on their own, but this was only true for the solid black color bags, not for the other 5 other colors we tried, which all stand upright with the same exact things packed in the same exact way. However, this is only a minor annoyance given the incredible weight-savings of this bag. The bonus in this bag (which we almost missed because the pictures look the same as its sister bag, the 830 model) is that it has back-pack style shoulder straps tucked away in a large zippered pocket on the back of the bag. While this adds about 4 to 6 ounces of weight to the bag compared to its sans-straps twin, making it 3 lbs 6.6 oz (dark purple color) to 3 lbs 8 oz (black color) instead of 3 lbs 2 oz (black 830 model), we figured that if it were overweight by 1/2 a pound, one could find something small to pull out of the bag and stick in one's pocket for boarding. The only way to have made it lighter would have been to use a piece of velcro to hold the flap of material in place instead of a zipper, but we'd definitely recommend keeping the zipper because it creates an unexpected bonus (see below). Besides the added peace of mind in case of unexpected wheel failure, the straps give an option to haul multiple bags - one can wheel another bag and carry this one. Although it doesn't have a hip-belt to make it easier to carry by taking weight off the shoulders, the straps are lightly padded, well-placed, and comfortable enough for short hauls. One unexpected plus of the zippered pocket to cover the back-pack straps is just that - an extra zippered pocket! Since the straps don't take up much space, this zippered pocket which measures 12"x11"x1.25" (or 30x27.5x3 cm), gives one an extra place to stow small items such as a magazine, small book or tablet, boarding pass, etc. Lest one worry about the added dimension, it doesn't actually add any depth compared to the 830 model, which has two plastic feet where the pocket on the 930 is (which doesn't have the plastic feet) and in both models the wheels stick out about 1/2" compared to the flat back. The maximum depth of the bag whilst packed with the same stuff was identical between the two models. All-in-all, it seems well-constructed and is better designed and much more user-friendly than we expected for an ultra-light, budget-conscious bag. It's an excellent value. Bravo! Pros: - light weight (3 lbs, 6 oz - 3 lbs 8 oz, depending on color - including lock and key) - dimensions that match the max carry-on size of most airlines (not too small or too large) - sturdy construction - smooth rolling wheels with metal shafts - added shoulder straps - unexpected back pocket for small items - nice overall design Minor Cons: - fully loaded bag may not stand upright (this was only for the black color, the other colors we tried all stood upright) - wheel attachment points seem a little less sturdy than other designs, but are working well so far Overall, this bag is a 4.5-5 star bag. Despite a few very minor negatives, the overwhelming positives of an ultra light-weight bag that meets strict carry-on requirements without cinching on space, rolls well, is well-constructed from sturdy fabric, and is an excellent price make this bag definitely worth buying for any budget or weight/space conscious traveler. We especially like the additional shoulder straps, which make the bag more versatile and give a backup option in case of wheel failure, cobblestone streets, lots of steps, etc. And for the price compared to other ultra-light bags, even if this bag only lasted a few trips, it'd still definitely be worth buying.
