King of Shaves Advanced Sensitive Shaving Oil Vitamin E Travel 30ml

I've been using this stuff for years and see no reason to change. One squirt with the pump is all I ever need, even with a thick, dark growth, so a bottle lasts ages. I find the oil works best with Fusion Proglide manual - forget KoS razors, they really are pants. I never have any razor burn using this oil and, for some bizarre reason, never seem to cut myself either. The blade just glides and never drags. If there's a price difference in any of the products, pay the extra and go for this pump bottle. As well as the convenience of the pump, the bottle itself is more sturdy. Not a big deal for some, but I travel by air far very frequently. On arrival at my hotel in Australia a few months back, my normal bottle of KoS shave oil had somehow cracked/burst/whatever and leaked the entire contents. Luckily, I keep my liquids inside a plastic bag inside my toilet bag but it might easily have stained my work shirts.

Using it with a razor without soap is definitely not for me. Even with shaving soap it did not seem to give any extra benefit. However when using it as a pre electric I was impressed. I shave my head with an electric razor, and found that the oil made it easier, and more comfortable. It also gave a closer shave, so will continue to use oil only for that purpose.

This is the only shaving oil you'll ever need, I spent years trying to find a way to stop the razor burn on my throat. This one works.

Discovered this item by chance and now it’s all I use. Highly recommend this product, just perfect.

The size is the major plus, as an offshore worker, baggage weight and volume for travel is very limited and this is perfect, and it is a good smooth shave. Major downside, the oil clogs the razor blades quite badly, no matter how I try to clean it out, even with running water as hot as I can get. Overall a good shave if you can live with the inconvenience of clogged blades.

After suffering with Razor burnshaving my head with in an electric razor, i read about using this product to help.....thought for the price why not try it!!! Ive only used it twice and up to now shaving my head the problem with the burn doesnt seem to be no way near as bad. I use 3 or 4 squirts and away i go......cant comment about using shaving my face as ive not tried it......for the price it deffo helps though and does what i needed it to do.....could of bought a more expensive product but thought id try this first and up to now im impressed.

First thing I noticed with this is that doesn't smell as pleasant as you would expect for a shaving oil. For that reason, I don't use it often. It also seems to be very clingy for an oil. It's not easy to clean excess from face of hands without using excessive amounts of soap. It does give a good shave, but I wouldn't call it the KING of shaves for these reasons. Hence only 4 stars. I think there are better products out there for the price.

I've been using Kings shaving oil for years. To my mind it transforms shaving. Benefits: It is easy to use, it is compact making it handy for travel, you can see what you are doing - unlike with shaving cream, it doesn't obscure what you are shaving. It also conditions your skin. I used to suffer from dry face skin and had to use a moisturiser - which as a bloke didn't come naturally. Using Kings shaving oil completely cured this and I no longer need a moisturiser. And perhaps best of all - it gives a very smooth shave.

I honestly used to be a ride-or-die traditional shaving cream person, but after giving this King of Shaves oil a shot, I am officially a convert. I will absolutely never go back to regular cream or gel! The overall performance is just night and day. Because it’s an oil, the razor glides over your skin effortlessly. I’ve noticed significantly smoother shaves and way less irritation or razor burn than I used to get with heavy foams. It just feels like a much smarter, more comfortable way to shave. I also really appreciate the handy pump on this bottle—it dispenses the perfect amount without making a mess, and since the oil goes on clear, you can actually see exactly where you’re shaving. If I had to note a couple of minor downsides for a balanced review, the 1.01 oz bottle looks absolutely tiny when it first arrives, which initially made me worry about the value. However, a little really does go a long way, so it lasts much longer than you'd think and is great for travel. Also, because it is an oil, you do need to rinse your razor under hot water a bit more frequently while shaving to keep the blades from getting gunked up. Overall, the quality and smoothness are top-notch. If you're on the fence about ditching the traditional shaving cream, I highly recommend giving this a try. Hope this helps!

Compact and lightweight for travel

I have been shaving 70 years, and have never experienced a shave as smooth as I get now with King of Shaves, wish I nhad tried it years ago
