I bought it some time ago as I am familiar with activated charcoal since childhood. My mom used to treat all tummy aches with it so we always had it in first aid box. Now when I am parent myself I have my first aid box ready and it includes activated charcoal. Fortunately, my children did not need any treatments but my husband and me sometimes struggling with poor eating habits and our digestive system does not work as it used to. I am not using it on a daily basis, only when I have problems with my tummy. We had birthday party recently and we ate so much food my tummy started to hurt and I started to feel sick. I took activated charcoal and within an hour I felt so much better. It works every time, the best cure, in my opinion, for any digestive problems. It also helped my husband to reduce heartburn and also had a great impact on bloating. These capsules come in a white bottle and contain 100 capsules. Serving size is 2-4 capsules. For cramp from wind and heartburn. Does what they say. Don’t like the chalky texture but you can swallow whole for a slower affect.

These are nothing short of amazing. I have a stomach muscle separation following 3 children which has given me considerable digestive issues and one of which is pungent flatulence as my muscles fail to hold everything in. Not the most attractive and definitely the most embarrassing. I cannot routinely eat meals which have potatoes or rice and if I have eaten a few different snacks such as crisps or biscuits then I will suffer from wind all evening. It's almost a standing joke in our home when a smell hits as to whose the culprit! ....Following a search for a cure after a particularly embarrassing evening... I decided to purchase these tabs and following other users advice have used 2 before and 2 after a meal which I know will give me bad wind such as a roast or fish and chips and I've been amazed that the wind has all but disappeared!!! I don't use these everyday so I can see the difference when the wind starts after meals where I haven't taken the tablets. As other users commented, they are best to swallow with water as if your hands are wet you can see the colour coming off on them and I have found 2 before and 2 after a heavy meal is adequate. I would find it inconvenient to have to have one in between a meal but so far I haven't needed to. As mentioned before they can make your stool a darker colour and as I don't take them everyday mine is darker but not black which I would find a little alarming! Will definitely purchase again as they have given me the confidence to be able to eat foods I enjoy inside and outside the home.
