Good touring tyre
Good reliable tyre for road bike touring and commuting. Done some unpaved riding too where they’ve stood up to the job on flat gravel paths and cattle grids. Good wet performance. Minimal drag, able to average +20mph on a Smooth, flat surface, no wind. No punctures as yet. (I also use an anti puncture lining for tyres, available on Amazon too) Easy to fit. Top tip partially inflate the inner tube and ‘massage’ the tyre after fitting to ensure the inner tube is free from any pinching and makes a good bond with the wheel once fully inflated. Only criticism is the direction of rotation arrows are infrequent & hard to see making it an effort to work out the orientation of the tyre.

The best road bike tyres
These are the best tyres you can get for a road bike - I rarely get punctures. They seem to last over 10,000km before they need replacing. Make sure you inflate them to the correct pressure though and check before every ride.

Amazing grip
Don't understand how a slick tyre can be so grippy, but these are amazing. Used in most weather conditions and on most road surfaces, and apart from being a little bit bumpy (using 28s), no complaints at all.

Robust and durable with low rolling resistance.
I have just purchased my fourth consecutive 25mm GP 4 Season Vectran for the back wheel. I prefer the noticeably faster GP4000 but found them insufficiently resistant to nicks and cuts so now I only run the GP4000 on the front. Two of the GP 4 Season lasted a decent 6000 km. (The other was severely cracked after less than 1000km.) At 6K the tread is thinning and wearing flat over a 6-7mm width. The seam becomes visible on the side wall and the thin remaining tread cracks across the running surface (see photos). Elsewhere nicks from grit and flints are small. Small cracks do not extend with time. The balance between rolling resistance and puncture protection suits the roads and my riding. I find winter tyres are too heavy; summer tyres cannot last on winter roads or poor surfacing. The only downside is the lowest selling price on the web increases a couple of quid each time.

Better tyre than my outgoing specialized - Good buy for commuting/training/fitness
These are really tyres that glide along. A bit pricey but worth it. No punctures yet. I would take it easy with them until they begin to rough up. I had a 700x25C pair on a road bike and initially it was a bit easy to feel the rear wheel locking under harder braking. They take a little bedding in (or whatever the term is) then all is good. Good weight to puncture resistance resistance balance for commuting. training etc

Fast, puncture resistant, and confidence in tight turns
These are the business. I put these on my Specialized Diverge gravel bike as a change from the stock fitted Pathfinders. Put on just in time for the Loch Ness Etape and worked perfectly. They feel planted and fast. I’ve ran over a lot of different surfaces and these have been puncture free since fitting. These are now my go to tyres.

Quality tires
On my first ride I was nervous doing so but it was worth it having the confidence to take it anywhere. I deliberately took every pothole in my area and gone over some glass, these tires never got a puncture which means I could go on longer rides having that in mind while being careful though. They grip very well in sand (edit but not thick sand just a thin layer) and wet roads aswell. Would buy them again.

Premium price, but premium performance.
After a lot of miles on Conti 5000’s and Gatorskins, switched to these. Happy with them. More flats with 5000’s than I thought they would have and the Skins are not a performance tire. Have rolled thousands of miles on these , including nasty debris covered shoulders with minimal flats. Wish they weren’t as speedy.

Smooth Ride
Bought these for added protection. I ride 25 miles a day on various conditions of dry/wet/stones/thorns/glass. Tread is not much, but my hope is it is enough for the wet conditions. Smooth ride even with the tread. Wish they had directional information to provide peace of mind on the water shedding aspect. Update: 2-months and my first flat. The tread had a big gash about the second week. It did not go through then it lasted another 1.5 months before the flat so guess the high TPI worked. Retrospect, I would probably save the money and buy a thicker walled tire. The thin wall would be nice for racing or something, but not worth it for commute. Tread is just enough to help stop sliding under wet conditions. Update: 6-months and several flats later. Every tire will get a flat so not too worried about that. My back tire is really worn and the front is looking pretty good. I need to rotate them (should have done sooner) to even the wear. The side-wall gash in the second week was in my front tire. Now the back has a 1/4" long gash that went through and cause several flats until I found it. Installed a vulcanizing patch on the inside of the tire and has held for the last two weeks. I just bought a less expensive tire (1/2 this price) but will wait until these can do no more to compare. Still a good tire, but if any tire will have problems, might as well save a little money.
