No alcohol required to operate the machine. You can put a little alcohol in the ice cream for flavour but not too much (about a couple of tablespoons) or the ice cream won't freeze!

The UK voltage is actually 230 volts plus 10% and minus 6% which means it can be anywhere between about 216 and 253 volts. So anything rated between these voltages will work - provided the appliance is designed for 50Hz.

Can I use condensed milk to replace milk Or cream in the vanilla ice cream recipe

It’s not suitable as a replacement (the consistency comes out semitranslucent and slightly icy) but, you can use sweetened condensed milk as part of the recipe providing you’ve got heavy cream or a substitute heavy cream working alongside it.
