Perfect for my mum who is allergic to ingredients in other hair dyes
My mum is thrilled that she can cover her whites/greys again after developing an allergy to ammonia and other ingredients in normal hair dye even the ones in hairdressing salons. This was very gentle and didn't cause any irritation to her scalp (she has alopecia and eczema ). Whilst it did not provide complete coverage, it did extremely well and provided an all over even colour, it had been a long time since it was dyed so this may be why. Would definitely recommend and will be buying more.

Amazing natural hair dye it covered my gray hairs 100%.
Amazing natural hair dye it covered my gray hairs 100%. I had to switch to commercial hair dye just because I thought the only natural option for dying your hair was Henna which regretfully could not cover my grey hairs. This hair dye smells good (not chemichaly) did not caused me any rash or itchiness. The colour is very saturated and completely covered my grey hairs. Would buy again.

Good when you know how to get the most from it
I thought I’d give this a go as an alternative to L’Oréal preference colours, since I tend to top up my colour every 8 weeks or so I’d rather avoid chemicals if possible. I was very surprised to find that this works very well (provided you wash your hair through a few times immediately after dying it). APPLICATION & RESULTS It’s easy to apply, is quite gel-like so I’ve had no problem with drips of colour going on my white bathroom (a major plus). There is a reasonable amount of dye. I have very long thick hair so if I wanted a colour change I would have to buy 2 packs. For ongoing roots & grey coverage I use just the 1. The only downside is that it’s very unpleasant to wash off in the shower. It leaves a thick slimy coating on your hair, face and body which takes a bit of washing off. Thankfully it doesn’t leave a dirty coating on the shower. The first time I used the dye I washed and dried my hair as suggested on the packet and found my hair to be extremely lank and greasy. So disgusting that even after blow drying it looked 80% still wet at the roots, and stuck to my head. It was so bad that I had to get back in the shower and re-wash my hair...then it was perfect. I learned from this and now wash my hair 2-3 times in the shower the first time until it feels clean. I wouldn’t say my hair is quite as shiny as it is when using the L’Oréal dye and conditioner included, but it does feel very soft and look healthy. I ’m happy with it and will continue to use it, as I can use shampoo and conditioner that adds shine afterwards.

Great Product if allergic to normal hair dye.
Covers my greys really well and doesnt make my head itch or eyes swell as other brands can do. Im allergic to ammonia and this product is the best Ive found so far with just natural ingredients. I would recommend if you have allergies like me.

Leaves hair dry and dyes your scalp
This is the first time I have used this brand. I wanted a natural way to dye my hair so it would not damage it but get rid of the greys. It mixes like most hair dye by mixing 2 bottles together. It is very runny and once applied continually ran down my forehead, face and neck. When I rinsed it out there was a lot of dye left on my face and neck and it had dyed my scalp black. My hair was black when it dried and felt really dry. It is in much worse condition than before I dyed it. And my scalp is black. Would not recommend at all :-(

Okay lasted 5-6 weeks max
I’ve used this hair dye a couple of times, and follow the instructions as directed. I found on my hair that the permanent dye lasts around 5 to 6 weeks, before you start noticing either regrowth or colour fading. I liked that it was a natural alternative to the usual hair dye and the ingredients list is more natural. But I don’t think I’ll be buying again, as I don’t want to be re-dying my hair every 5 to 6 weeks.

Colour is beautiful and Rich 3N
Hi Everyone! Thanks for answering my questions regarding 2N. But as Chrissy suggested that colour is too dark, I went for 3N and she is right. I could have gone lower. I just received the product and I have done Skin Sensitivity test and Colour strand test. I am glad I did that. Colour is absolutely very strong even with 3N. I would need only 20 minutes to cover all my Grey hair. Which I just found out. Now I will wait 48 hours to see if I can handle the product or not. Thanks Beatrice for suggesting me to use vaseline, C S Avery for letting me know it doesn't drip and Yes Mahammar Saumtally I will buy the appropriate Shampoo. Thank you! Yes!!!! I did it. Easy to use. Thank God

Great hair dye
Great hair dye, have been using only this for years now, also during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It does not smell at all and has most infrefients natural. Never had any problrms. The only disadvantage is that it only lasts around 1 month and then i have to reapply it

One of three fabulous natural products that work gently and well
I have been dyeing my hair since I was 21 (didn't want to see even one gray hair)so I consider myself a well-seasoned consumer of hair dyes. I have also had my hair done in NY and LA at top salons for a lot of money, so I consider this product among all those experiences and it comes out near the top. There are three products like this that I have used, Naturcolor, Herbaceuticals and this one, NaturTint. All of them are available at other sources and the local organic market but not at this attractive price. So, from an economics point of view, this is a bargain. But also from a hair care perspective, NaturTint excels. It smells pleasant and that is paramount to me. I cannot use any Clairol or Feria or Garnier products because they are so acrid and I have a sensitive olfactory. I like the fact that this product is natural and free of the typical carcinogens and immune compromising chemicals that are found in many of the cheaper, more commercial products of this type. The colorways are great and can be mixed and matched. I use 3N and top it with a dark blonde so I have a few highlights where my hair is gray. Like most of these products, it is slightly thick and can drip. Like other reviewers, I place a large old towel on the rug in my bathroom, to protect it and I wear a black cotton shirt while working with the product. I use a colorist's bowl and tools that I picked up cheaply at the local beauty supply shop. I use a foam 'brush' and a wide tooth comb and dab the mixture onto my hair in thick rows, then comb it through as needed. I only comb to the ends as I finish, so the most potent chemical action will spare them. I leave it on 30 minutes. When I wash it out, I only use the cream rinse that comes with the package - not the shampoo. I make sure there is a thorough rinsing under a brisk stream of cool water and that is all I need. I then gently comb through my hair while it is very damp and put on an anti-frizz that I like from John Frieda. Since I am a pharmaceuticals writer, I learned long ago that hair is most fragile when wet - so I handle it very gently until it is mostly dry, then I invert my head (I have shoulder-length hair) and blow it dry quickly. I style it later, just before I leave the house. The result is shiny, manageable, natural-looking and healthy hair, considering it is treated. I do this every 6 to 8 weeks and that works well for me, as I no longer wash my hair every day (as we age, our hair becomes dryer, thinner and more brittle, reducing shampoos will slow that process and keep hair strong enough to reduce breakage, in my experience). I use boar bristle round brushes and a non-laurel sulfate shampoo for colored hair. I honestly think, if I had continued using even my old favorite L'Oreal Natural Match my hair would eventually have aged more quickly than it does with this product. I started using NaturTint in the '90's and am happy it is still around. I also think the quality of the natural colors leaves me with a softer, more natural looking brunette.

Great hair dye
My hairdresser recommended me this hair dye. I’ve been using it for about six months now, and I absolutely love it. There’s no strong chemical smell at all as it ammonia-free, which makes the whole coloring process much more pleasant. It mixes easily and applies smoothly, spreading evenly through the hair. I have a small percentage of gray hair, and this dye covers it beautifully. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that some people experienced skin reactions. Personally, I’ve had no issues at all. I would recommend doing a patch test beforehand, just as the manufacturer advises, to make sure it’s a good fit for you. Highly recommend!
