Luminarc Arc International Quadro Fridge Jug with Lid 110cl, 1 Jar

Before purchasing this water jug, I would reuse plastic water to keep my mineral water chilled. Shock shock, plastic bottles are designed to be for one use only. I knew it was time to look into glass jugs for my needs. This Arc International Luminarc Quadro Fridge Jug with Lid 110cl, 1 Jar fit the bill for me. It is well made, sturdy easy to clean and fits into the bottle shelf of my fridge perfectly. The plastic top opening needs to be poured at a certain angle otherwise you get some spillage. As you can not fully close and secure the top, I have to add some cling film to stop other smells from interfering with the taste of my mineral water.

Love this! Just the size of a one-litre carton of juice or milk, this fits perfectly into my fridge door without taking up too much space. I put tap water in and then put it in the fridge so we've got chilled water on hot days. I like to put some mint leaves and a slice of lemon or orange in, and it's really nice for that. It's really nice quality and looks attractive on the table. The plastic lid is white and can be left closed or opened for pouring. When its closed, it's not completely airtight, but it does keep 'fridge smells' out. Because this is made of glass, I don't have to worry about any of the chemicals that can leach from plastics, and it also doesn't absorb any of the flavours of what's in it and can even be put in the dishwasher.

I use it to keep my tap water cold and it’s a perfect size to keep in the fridge door. Not too tall or wide. The only negative is the lid does drip a little when pouring, but if you angle it a certain way then the extra drips can still fall in your glass not all over the work top. The lid needs fingernails to pull off each time you want to fill it up or clean it, but in terms of price and quality of the glass jug, I’m happy with it and the lid is only a minor issue. I’ve had so many jugs that are far worse, so this is actually the best glass jug I’ve found. I fill it up 3x a day to ensure I drink enough water and it feels nice to hold and looks good. Been using it every day for over a month and overall, especially compared to the previous ones I’ve used, I’m really pleased with it.

I needed a container to store home made almond milk. I had tried a plastic jug previous to this purchase which cost almost the same amount. I noticed that smells would become ingrained in to the plastic, so opted for a glass jug instead. This is a top quality thick glass jug. Easy to handle. Fits snugly into the fridge door thanks to it's simple design. It has a small spout which has not shown any issues when pouring. The lid is secure and doesn't fall off when tilted. Item arrived quickly and was very securely packed. I would recommend this item to others.

The jug itself is great quality and very easy to clean. What lets this product down is the lid. The lid is plastic, quite flimsy and not airtight, meaning you may get the fridge taste/smell in your water. Pours quite slowly, but it's ok overall. It does the job but it's not perfect.

The shape of this jug is very economical for fitting into fridge and shelves. There aren't many products that can compare. (IE: not many lidded glass jugs out there) Glass seems the best quality for juice storage. The texture of the exterior makes for a nice look. For anyone who has a juicer, this might be the right kind of storage when not drinking the juice immediately.

I needed a jug for storing my milk in the fridge door. The milk we drink is unhomogenised whole milk from organic grass fed cows (they are only milked twice a day) and it doesn't come in a bottle. I buy one litre per week and I store it in this glass jug for the week. It stays fresh and is easy to pour. You can twist the plastic lid around to close the gap when you're finished pouring. It doesn't have an airtight seal on the lid but I don't think that's needed. I love the design and style of the jug, it's very well made and sturdy. Highly recommend for milk, juice or water.

This jug fits perfectly in the fridge door. It’s not too heavy, and has a reasonably wide mouth for easier cleaning.

Guter Wasserkrug. Hab noch einen zweiten gekauft. Kein Tröpfeln bei beiden entgegen den Kommentaren in anderen Bewertungen. Lustig ist nur, dass beim Ausschenken manchmal Geräusche kommen wie von Vogelgezwitscher durch die entweichende Luft. Von mir für den Preis eine Kaufempfehlung, da es super in die Kühlschranktür passt, nicht tropft und ansprechende Optik hat.
