A must have for coffee lovers
Simply amazing. The book itself is stunning with lots of little illustrations spread throughout the book. Each subject goes very nicely in depth but not to the point where it becomes long and boring to read. I am seriously impressed with the build quality and overall presentation of this book. This is a must have for anyone who loves coffee or is just trying to get into making it and learning about it

Fascinating coffee info - not convinced of the format
A beautiful retro produced book reminiscent of the 1970s both in paper quality and image style - thick matt paper and simple drawings. The content is fascinating and informative - although at times I found myself wanting a little more, eg Just how much should you tamp the coffee in an espresso machine, medium pressure or really hard? Or a comparison of the different methods or making coffee - their strengths and weaknesses. Great definitions, but a little more by way of advice for curious novices would have been great. But then again, if it did so maybe it wouldn't then be a dictionary! Packed with interesting information. I'm not convinced though that the A-Z dictionary format works best - it might have been better to have a section on methods or brewing, a section on countries, on preparation, on beans etc Probably 3.5 stars!

Good insights
I was a bit doubtful to buy a "dictionary". But it reads well and found very interesting original informations that are generally not in the coffee literature I usually put my hands on.
