I have always been a fan of Don Julio. It is very easy to drink and is much smoother than most other company’s making it good value for money.

This was a Birthday gift, i for one really dont like Tequila but the person receiving this liked it so much and wanted me to try it. While its still not my thing it is the only Tequila i didnt scrunch up my face to. So will be buying this again in the future for gifts

Ich bin ehrlich: Ich habe seit Jahren keinen Tequila mehr getrunken. Meine bisherigen Erfahrungen beschränkten sich auf den bekannten Kandidaten mit dem lustigen Hut – ein Tequila, der sich eher anfühlt wie ein Urlaubssouvenir, bei dem man Salz, Zitrone und Mut braucht, damit er funktioniert. Naja zumindest etwas gegen Skorbut. Entsprechend vorsichtig waren meine Erwartungen. Und dann kam dieser Tequila. Beim Geruch erst leicht spritig,aber frisch. Der erste Schluckist zunächst recht präsent und kraftvoll, legt aber schnell an Härte ab. Danach wird er spürbar milder und rund, mit einer sehr angenehmen, klaren Agavennote und mehreren feinen Geschmackskompositionen. Besonders positiv fällt der Abgang auf: Er brennt nicht, bleibt aber lange erhalten und trägt den Eigengeschmack ruhig und gleichmäßig weiter. Genau das, was man von einem hochwertigen Tequila erwartet. Fazit: Dieser Tequila hat meine lange Tequila-Pause überzeugend beendet. Kein Party-Shot, sondern ein Getränk zum bewussten Genießen. Wer glaubt, Tequila sei immer gleich – hier wartet eine sehr positive Überraschung. Klare Empfehlung. 🍹
