Saved me nearly £200!
Bought to use in a Freesat 4K box. The original drive in the device failed and their support told me I needed a new box at around £200.Instead I bought this, cracked the box open, replaced the hard drive with this one, formatted it through the devices menu, and boom I had a working box again in under half an hour!It's been several months now and it's still going strong with no issues, it easily performs as well as the original drive, perfect!

Great Hard Drive @ Great Price
It came the next day delivery was great, product as described in advert, easy to install into my CCTV unit and works a treat holds weeks and week of video so far been a month on it from the cameras recovery to USB was fast as well.All in all a great hard drive for what I needed it for but would also be good as a backup drive in an external case which are cheap as chips as well on amazon too.

It works in the ps3
The hard drive in my sons ps3 recently died so I bought this as a replacement.After putting in the new drive and reinstalling the ps3 system software everything has been working fine.Does the job. Good value for money.

Brilliant fix for Freesat
Freesat hard drive was corrupted. I thought I was going to have to spend over £200 to replace. Got this item for £13 and took 2 minutes to replace. It works perfectly. Very chuffed

New lease of life for the old PS3
Recently fitted this to the old PS3, originally it was only 20gb, so each time we bought a game we were constantly having to delete previous game data. Did a bit of online research and found that it was relatively straight forward to swap out the hard drive. This 500gb drive did the trick superbly. Installed the PS operating system off a memory stick from the Sony site and looked back into PlayStation store. Perfect!!

NO WARRANTY! ANCIENT DRIVES! DO NOT BUY
This started to fail 10 months after purchase. When I contacted Western Digital (they own HGST) their reply was:I understand that you bought the drive in November 2023 but it was manufactured in 2014. Drives are not meant to sit in storage for that long and the drive should have never been sold to you in the first place. I will ask you to please reach back the place of purchase and explain this to them.

Buono soprattutto da usare come archivio al posto dei più costosi SSD. Inserito in un Case Hard Disk 2.5 con apposito cavo USB svolge egregiamente la sua funzione. Prezzo onesto.
