Sundried BPA Free Leakproof Outdoor, Sports, Fitness & Gym Water Bottle 750ml

update 1 year later. In total I think I have bought at least 6 of these bottles for friends and families. Of the 4 that we have as a family none have developed any mould on them. This includes one that still had water in it and was according to my son lost whilst at Judo but was found 4 months later under his bed. I have dropped mine several times with no damage. I have since bought other bottles, one that you could open one handed, loved it because of that function, slipped out of my hand bounced on the floor and split ! Bought another bottle slightly bigger 1L that can open one handed but when you drink out of it the lid hits your nose and there's a catch that hits your chin. In the end I keep on coming back to this bottle. Everyone who sees this bottle loves it. It's looks elegant, lovely and sophisticated. I have had no issues with splits , cracks smell or mould. I have even taken this to the dessert in excess of 40C , no tarnish or discolouration. I was afraid that it would or that the rubber would degrade, nothing of the sort. None of the ones I have bought have leaked either. In fact the only thing I haven't done to this bottle is pour boiling hot water into it, nor have I have frozen it solid yet .... In fact the only negatives points are that you need Two hands to open it . However maybe because of that I have never dropped one unlike all the other ones twice or three times the price which I've bought that I could open one handed. The only other issue is that I wish it had some kind of wrist strap , yet again all the ones that I have dropped and broken that were far more expensive all had wrist straps ! This also has never leaked unlike a lot of the others costing twice more than this ! People do tend to steal these if you leave it unattended, my first went missing within a week of taking it to work. Hence me getting an extra one. . The only thing really I could say that would perhaps be a possible improvement is to slightly narrower the middle of the bottle slightly more . For the price , the Utility , the robustness and longevity of this product . Buy it even just to use for a week rather than buying plastic bottles of water at the shops.

Before Duncurin starts his gym sessions, I tell my friends that I need to put water in the steam-engine and with this I start my workout and sure enough much heat and steam is produced. Sadly, in these Covid times, although the gym has re-opened there are no disposable cups for the water fountain and I have no change for the bottled water machine. Last week two very sweaty, big lads had their mouths over the nozzle of the fountain as they were drinking which also put me off a bit. I knew that I needed a rapid response to my water needs and thanks to Amazon they overnighted this super water bottle. It’s a lovely clear design and although it is only plastic it looks fabulous. I love the slim-wasted design which looks good and is tactile and the way it bends the light when it has water in it. It is a simple but effective design that – my favourite words – just gets on with it. The wide screw top applies pressure to the rubber inner funnel and then closes this off. Even my sweaty palms can then unscrew the top and I can slurp enough water to keep the steam engine running. It’s a teeny bit bigger than I would have needed but it’s better to have too much water than too little in these tricky times. The neck is also large enough to allow me to fill it from our refrigerated and filtered nozzle on our fridge before I leave the house and it is still nice and cool by the time I get to the gym. The neck when the stopper is removed is wide enough to admit slices of fruit that some prefer or even ice cubes. Of course, it is made from safe plastics. There were some cautions applied to those who were continually refilling old plastic bottles and I was keen to avoid this. It is easy to rinse and to dry and also to keep clean. The slim design means I can keep it off the floor by putting it in the receptacle in the elliptical trainer or stepper machine or simply pop it on the weight stack as the photo shows. All in all this is perfect for my gym sessions and allows even my puffing steam engine to get through with only the minimum of hot air! Happy workout to one and all.

The photos don't really do the bottle justice. It looks great. A lot better than a plastic bottle really should look. The plastic is so shiny and smooth that you'll probably stare at it for ages in amazement like I did. The bottle feels durable and good quality, it doesn't collapse in the middle when you squeeze it like some cheaper bottles. I was definitely impressed with the quality of the bottle at this price. After using the bottle for some time it is still in great condition. The outside of the bottle has got scratched but it hasn't cracked or dented after being dropped on the floor numerous times. The bottle can really take a ridiculous amount of abuse. If like me you leave bottles in the bottom of your rucksack or rolling around in the foot well of the car, then you can do so without worrying about this bottle getting damaged. Most importantly though it doesn't leak. The red rubber seal does a great job at keeping the water inside. After numerous bottles that leaked inside my rucksack I have finally found one that I can carry around all day without getting a bag full of damp stuff. I'm not really one for drinking fruit squash but on the rare occasion that I have put juice inside the bottle it doesn't develop a funny taste afterwards. The bottle doesn't go soft when it gets hot like some plastics do. So on one occasion when I had forgotten my travel mug I put some coffee inside it. It worked surprisingly well although I did get some weird looks. You can even turn the lid upside down and use it as a small cup to drink from. It's easy to wash out by hand or you can put it in the dishwasher. From time to time I put some boiling water into the bottle straight from the kettle. This seems to work well to sterilize the inside of the bottle and keep it from getting smelly. There are a couple of problems with the bottle which is why I have subtracted one star. Firstly the lid makes a loud squeaky sound sometimes. It's fine in a noisy gym but not so much when you're in a quiet sauna and you have to explain to people that the sound didn't come from your bottom. Secondly, it is hard to dry out the inside of the bottle. The narrow neck means that even after a long period of time on a draining rack there's always a bit of water trapped inside. It's fine if you're using the bottle regularly but not the best if you're not going to use the bottle for a while. Lastly, the design of the bottle means that for a sports bottle it's not good for running or cycling. You have to unscrew the lid to drink so you can't just take a sip on the go as you need 2 hands to use the bottle.

It's really really good. I read loads of the reviews before I bought it- good ones and not so good ones. And I honestly don't know where the not so good ones are coming from. I'm extremely pleased with it. The size is right as most of these kind of bottles are small, the shape and design is nice. I use it every day and seems durable enough. I was really laughing at the review of "water pouring out too fast". Like what? 😁 Or the ones of plastic smell. Do you really want an already used bottle so it doesn't smell brand new?! As all the products of such kind, I always sterilise all with some Milton tablets. 10min in the sterile water and strips all the scent and bacteria. Like cmon people, world is not so difficult. Ouh and about the squeaky noise- it's not very loud at least for mine and completely dissapered when applied some pressure whilst opening Guys, it's easy to clean, nice size and doesn't leak. And the price is ridiculously affordable for the quality of the product. If you are not fussed about insignificant pretend issues then this is a product for you. If you are arsy about tiny things then don't bother even finding any bottle cause nothing will please you

Simple yet elegant bottle with a unique solution to preventing leaks. The rubber (silicone?) top provides a refreshingly easy way of drinking from the bottle without dribbling half the water down your chin like some designs do, and it is this flexible spout that also provides a very effective seal as the lid is screwed down onto it. The red spout is removeable and coupled with the simplistic shape should make for easier cleaning, which is another area that many more complicated designs fall down on. Be aware that the bottle is quite large, obviously due to its generous capacity, but it's not something you'd want to take jogging with you. Would be nice to see the same design in alternative sizes. The only negative I have found is that my bottle didn't even last me 24 hours before my wife decided she liked the look of it and claimed it for her own, but it was nice while it lasted! Looks good, works perfectly and is even far cheaper than most other bottles, definitely 5 stars

I had a previous glass water bottle from Full Circle which started to leak past a seal, amongst some other design flaws (mainly the useless lid) I wanted to get away from. I was drawn to the Sundried due to its bold claims of feeling and tasting just like glass, whilst being much lighter. The latter is true, the first two are not. I took a punt since it was cheap, but stopped using it after 2 weeks and replaced it (see below*). The bottle has quite a few things letting it down: - Screw lid, so not one hand operable and slow to get lid on and off (squeaky too!). Also seems to rely on making good contact with the mouthpiece to seal properly, not sure how that would be in the long run? - Mouthpiece is like drinking from a hot water bottle, even if the nasty smell was to go (for me it hadn't), the taste/texture is not appealing - The bottle feels like plastic (and it is, but it claims it feels like glass, which it doesn't) - The water inside gets warm much quicker than in an equivalent glass bottle - Something about the design or perhaps the materials means that the lid to bottle screw thread interface gets a smell of stagnant water after less than a day's use. This is then the part of the bottle next to your nose as you drink, so very off-putting. I tend to usually rinse a water bottle daily with hot water for a couple of days, and wash thoroughly with detergent every few uses. With this one you can't get away with this. - Personally I found myself transfering the rubber casing off the base of my old water bottle to this one so it sat quieter on the desk, to protect the surfaces for stablity If you want a cheap, lightweight bottle to chuck in a carry bag this may be the one for you, but if like me you want it for your desk, and/or want your water to stay cool, taste right and be easily accessed, this isn't the one. *For anyone looking for a bottle that ticked all my boxes, I personally went for a Zulu glass bottle for its one-handed lid opening, lockable lid, glass drinking spout, nice design (no I have no affiliation, but I am quite particular with water bottles as you may tell!).

PROS: I use this bottle every day for work, home and any other activities. Very happy with it as it is a good quality product for the price, and is nice to know it is BPA free. It is sturdy and doesn't break easily - has been dropped from a height a number of times, and only has a few scratches. I have the 750ml bottle and it fits easily and comfortably in the bottle side pocket of my backpack. CONS: doesn't have much grip (other than the slightly curved shape) so is a bit slippery when wet, and did fall out of back pack side pocket when I bent over to pick something up due to this. I have found that if I don't put the little red plastic mouth piece back in levelly then it will leak a little bit when drinking from it, but it is easily sorted by putting it back in correctly - doesn't need to be kept upright if the plastic is in place properly and I've had no other issues with leaking. THE SMELL: there is a slightly rubbery smell to the red mouthpiece, but it is not particularly strong and is not unpleasant, and after using it a few times I didn't even notice it anymore. I disassemble and wash mine (washing up liquid and warm water) every morning after using for the entire day, and haven't noticed a smell. I have noticed a "damp" smell when I have left it over a day without cleaning it. Clean it and dry it every day and there won't be an issue with a smell (in my opinion!)

Something as simple as a water bottle normally wouldn't warrant a review in my opinion, but this bottle is exceptional. It's absurd. It seems like many 'reusable' water bottles fail to fulfil their sole purpose, which is to transport water without leaking and without being hard to clean. This one, however, comes with a detachable mouth piece, which not only is wide so it makes drinking quicker, but also makes cleaning the nozzle much easier. Even though I have only had this bottle for a week, thus far it has not leaked a single time, which, sadly, is abnormal for reusable water bottles. It also is reasonably priced, whereas many other reusable bottles on the market seem to value status over functionality, and therefore cost upward of 20 quid. Seriously this bottle does everything it's supposed to at a low cost. I would never rave about something as stupidly trivial as a water bottle if it weren't so well designed.

My boys needed clear water bottles for school. I ordered four of them, because they were super cheap. I let the boys unbox them and try them out. I was impressed with the durability! Totally boy proof! The boys were impressed by the cool "duck" noises the rubber mouth piece makes when it's wet and put the cap back on the bottle. There's 45 minutes of my day I won't get back lol. They fit in their back backs well. Perfect for the four nights of Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing they don't leak in their gym bags. They've dropped them 5 million times in a week and still look like new. For 5.00 a piece I wasn't expecting this product to be so amazing!

Es la segunda que compró. Ideal para uso en la oficina, la boquilla es muy muy cómoda para beber a morro, y como la boca es ancha no hace vacío ni suena al beber.Como además se puede retirar para lavar garantizas la higiene. Otra ventaja de la boquilla extraible es que si la llenas en la fuente de agua de la oficina quitas la boquilla y así no entra en contacto con la fuente donde todo el mundo apoya su botella de la que beben a morro. Se agarra bien, se transporta bien, tiene un buen tamaño para no tener que rellenar constantemente. Por supuesto no pierde una gota la pongas en la posición que la ponga. Como he dicho es la segunda que compro. Es ideal para la nevera de casa y como el diseño no está mal la puedes llevar a la mesa y se llena fenomenal del grifo. La del trabajo me cogió algo de olor cuando me fui de vacaciones pero se quitó en un lavado. Muy contenta la recomiendo
