Amazon's version is twice the price of Costco... why so high

nov 2017 price at costco for 27 ounce jar is less than $8.00. The price was cut almost in half following Amozon's acquisition of Whole Foods. Trader Joe's also cut their price about half. TJ's jar is much smaller and still much more expensive than costco. Both costco and tj's almond butter is pure almond butter with only one ingredient - Almonds. Try searching "Pure" almond butter on Amazon and you will see many almond butter products that have a list of ingredients beyond just Almonds. How can they make the claim their product is "Pure" Almond Butter?
