Super item, product is good quality and very responsive I’m extremely impressed with the PHOTOOLEX Camera Flash Speedlite. It delivers bright, consistent lighting and works perfectly for both indoor and outdoor photography. The build quality feels solid and professional, yet it’s lightweight and easy to carry around for events or travel shoots. The controls are simple to understand, making setup quick even for beginners. I especially liked the fast recycle time and adjustable brightness settings, which helped me capture sharp, well-lit photos without missing important moments. It also pairs smoothly with my camera and performs reliably every time. For the price, this Speedlite offers excellent value and features that compete with much more expensive flashes. At first I could not figure out the different modes and spent considerable time failing to get the flash to work as a slave. Well, it doesn’t have the ability to be used in groups/channels and can only work using infrared. My main flash just would not trigger this flash at all and then suddenly I read why on the internet. Infrared doesn’t work in bright conditions and would you believe it I was sat there near my window at the dining table for half hour and it wouldn’t work. So I moved into the middle of the room where no sun was coming in, and boom it worked!!! It doesn’t need to be in direct line of vision either. I just put it in S1 mode and it fires when my main Godox flash triggers it. I used a transmitter on top of the camera which triggers the main flash on group A channel 26 and when it fires that ‘master’ flash it makes the ‘slave’ (this one I’m reviewing) flash too. There’s no fancy menus. This really is a no frills flash. No lcd screen. You can only change the power of the light and the type of space mode you want; s1 or s2. That’s all. If you want all the bells and whistles then this isn’t a flash for you. If you want a slave unit that simply allows you to adjust power (say for lightning your backdrop) then this is perfect. Comes with a nice bag and some light filters

Simple flash seems easy to operate with my Fujifil XT5 and H2S cameras. Great value for money !

You not go wrong with this flash, excellent piece of camera equipment, looks expensive, build quality brilliant, easy settings foolproof, value for money oh yes definitely, that impressed buying another for 2nd Cannon D90 due to wedding photography, saves lot of hassle keep swapping one camera to another, easy bounce light to walls & ceilings due to swivel & up down angle, every photographer shud have in there bag, you can pay 100s for exactly the same piece of kit that does the job perfectly.

First off I can't show in video how to use as I don't have a second camera to show the camera I am using this with. At first I was getting completely dark images when using this but realised you have to play around with the settings to get the right balance of light. I was using this for bouncing the flash off the ceiling to avoid flash reflection as I am using it to copy LP sleeves of some very old LPs from the 60s which I will use for CD sleeves as I am recording them. To get a good shot I had to set the flash unit on 1.1 at the far right. It gave just the right amount of light to get a real good copy of the LP sleeve without the flash spoiling the photo with reflection issues which is what you get with the built in flash and which is what you get with glossy picture copying. So far happy with the unit. The last time I did this sort of work was back in the 70s with a Zenith SSL 35mm camera so its nice to use my knowledge with the new digital photography compared to roll film. I also used a tripot and music stand to hold my LP Sleeve still to get a perfect in focus shot. Yes so far so good with this unit. Mines was in a sealed box so it was definitely new and unused. I am just hoping it wont break down after some use like a lot of users on here. If that happens I will be back to update my review.

If, like me you use wide angle lenses, then this isn't for you. Works ok with a 40mm lens up to about 10 feet, but go wider and the flash just lights the middle of the frame once you go over 6 feet away. I used this with a Leica SL2-S with a zoom and on a Nikon ZF with 40mm lens. Worked far better on the Nikon. I compared the flash to my small Leica brand flash and even at 24mm and 12 feet away the flash gave adequate power. Ok the Leica Flash cost me 5 times as much but you get what you pay for.

El producto está fabricado con material de calidad, sus funciones cumplen con lo que se ofrece por el artículo, la potencia del flash es excelente en cada intensidad y muy fácil de manejarlo. Su peso es ligero para sus dimensiones, (he visto otros flashes más pequeños y de mayor peso) . Su compatibilidad con Sony no ha dado ningún problema, la tapa de compartimiento de las baterías es algo delicado pero nada que de qué preocupar. Para fotógrafos que se inician en el mundo del flash es una excelente herramienta y por un muy buen precio!!

Precies wat ik nodig had.... een niet dure flits met een groot bereik die je manueel kan bedienen. Het werkt perfect. Zeer tevreden.
