Anti Glare Screen Protector 15.6'' inch Laptop/Notebook [345x194mm] Universal anti reflection

I bought a convertable laptop (one that flips into a tablet) with a gloss screen. Seeing my face and everything behind me reflected in the screen and nervousness about poking it led me to buy an anti-glare screen protector. I got one that was oversized so I could run it to the bezel, this meant a bit of trimming and cutting holes for the camera and microphone holes. A sharp craft knife and cutting mat did the job, but like an idiot I cut off the edge with the tabs that you use to remove the back and front films. Nevertheless, it went on fine, just a bit more fiddly than it should have been. The holes at the top are a little amatuerish, there's some bubbling at the edges, but importantly no bubbles on the display. It cuts reflections significantly, doesn't impact the overall display quality nor the touch screen. TOP TIP: apply in a steamy bathroom. I've lost count of the number of screen protectors I've applied over the years, doing it this way never fails. Just power down the device first as electronics and water don't mix. I've taken a star off for value for money as £15 is a tad pricey compared to others.

The anti glare properties are excellent. It's made using my laptop bearable (I'm highly photosensitive and screen was causing migraines). Bit of a 'mare to fit though, had to find the room with the least dust and no doggy hairs, tried to be clever and fit one corner before peeling the carrier off from underneath. That didn't work as 3 attempts and it went on wonky each time. Had to remove carrier sheet entirely in the end and still took two goes. A few air bubbles two annoying specks of dust under it on one side but hey, that's down to my inexperience NOT the function of the product. My fitting issues have not affected my view of the screen, it's only on a single colour background you notice the bubbles. It does stop glare from sunlight and it takes a lot maybe even all of the glare off the display itself meaning less eyestrain and Migraine. Image and colour presentation are not affected. Fits screen of my HP DV6 laptop perfectly. Seller was prompt and sent item very quickly.

The protector has to be applied without any dust around as stated. It really does mean ANY dust. I did my best but a very few tiny dust particles managed to get under it each with its own little bubble. I managed to get rid of them in the central area as I applied it but my patience ran out a bit so there are a few around the edges. They really are pretty much invisible in use and the protector does a great job so I'm happy. Best to apply when you have plenty of time and are feeling calm!

This product was absolute trash. I have never purchased something that was such a waste of money. Could not get the product to adhere to the screen of my laptop without capturing some dust underneath, due to the poor quality of the item it was almost impossible to remove the dust after this happened. Ended up with two choices, keep the poor quality cover on my screen with loads of dust embedded behind it or chuck it in the bin. You take a guess which one I chose. Had no problem installing a similar item on my phone. Definitely this god-awful screen protector. It's cheaper than the competitors for a reason, it SUCKS.

The protector itself is good, gives a decent matte screen, reducing glare from reflected light, and stops the smudging that inevitably occurs when your (greasy) fingers touch the screen. In terms of the screen quality, it does reduce as expected but only a very little bit, but if you turn the brightness up slightly this sort of compensates for it. Overall I am happy with the protector, the biggest positive for me is that it is a more pleasant experience to carry out my work with the reduced glare. My only complaint is with the seller who chooses to charge over ten pounds for this item and only supplies ONE screen protector. That for me is a poor choice, because we all know how difficult it is to get a screen protector on without having bubbles and dust getting stuck on the screen, it is very easy for whatever reason to mess up the application process and end up having to toss the protector, and come on it probably costs them fifty pence to make and package it. If the seller would have supplied the customary three or so protectors with the pack, I would happily give this item five stars, but because the seller has decided to be stingy and greedy, it gets three stars, and that is me being generous.

The screen protector is about a centimeter too short, which is annoying, but this is the only flaw. Courtesy of this screen protector, I can now work from my laptop without straining my eyes or getting a migraine. The difference really can't be understated for me. I always find screen protectors a pain to apply, but this one wasn't too bad. I ended up with a few bubbles, but they weren't very noticeable when working, and have now worked their way out. Definitely worth it for me.

I bought this screen protector for my Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 which has 13.3" display. It got stuck on the screen pretty well fortunately without any dust particles or air bubbles in my first attempt itself! But after applying the screen protector on the screen, I found that its length is 1 cm shorter than the width of the screen. That was quite disappointing! Now my screen is mostly covered by a matte layer with the edges giving brighter display. :/

Having read through the many reviews I was very worried and did my research on applying these successfully (YouTube etc e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-JcyOKAsNY). The key, as with anything is PREPARATION. Make sure the screen is cleaned very thoroughly, with screencleaner, lint-free cloths, anti-static brushes etc. and do have some sellotape at hand just in case for any rogue dust particles and then make sure you're in as dust free / wind free a room as possible with good lighting and then go ahead. If you do this, the process is very simple and importantly this anti-glare screen really does work well in sunlight - (I wonder if those complaining it doesn't remembered to peel back the shiny, outer protective layer after applying it, after you first peel off the inner protective layer to apply the anti-glare protector). This 3 step screen application process is very good and the product really works. I had been annoyed as my previous PCs all had anti-glare screens built in and was worried. But this does the trick very well - just prepare everything beforehand and it is easy to apply. Good luck!
