Magnesium Glycinate (Bisglycinate) 300mg Elemental, 240 Vegan Capsules

I am now at the end of my 3rd bottle of this Magnesium, and have just ordered my 4th. I have held off writing a review as I wanted to make sure I could talk about it from the right perspective.Mainly because, as others have said, it is not the most economically priced product, in its field, so I wanted to make sure it is worth that extra cost.First of all, a little about me and why I started to take it. I am 70 years old and I have suffered with Cramps in my body for a number of years. I started to research the causes of Cramp, after it started to become really painful and far more frequent, than ever before.I started off, increasing my fluid intake as Cramp can come from not drinking enough Water etc.. It did not help, it did cause me to be running to the loo a lot more frequently.So I decided to chat to my GP, and was not really advised regarding any medication available, I asked about 'Magnesium' and was advised that yes, it can help.So then I started researching the right type of Magnesium for me, and found this one, which had a lot of really good reviews.I also looked into the Company, and found that there was nothing there to discourage me, and plenty of information to help me decide.Yes: It is more expensive than any other that I looked at, but I decided to give it a try and sent for a 2 Months supply.One of the reviews I read here on Amazon, was a person saying they recommend it, as it is making a great difference for their needs, but due to the cost, they take just one Tablet per day, not the recommended 4 per day, which made sense to me at that time, so I followed that persons dosage and started taking one Capsule each Morning. By the end of the bottle, I had noticed absolutely no change, in the frequency, or the severity of the Cramps I was suffering.I reasoned, I needed to keep taking it but up the dosage, I ordered another 2 Month supply, and started taking two Capsules each Morning. After about three weeks, I started to notice that the Cramping was not quite as frequent during the day, but, at night, it was just as bad as it had always been, just not as often. I again tried upping my water intake, which did help a little, I also made sure to do stretching exercises about 20 minutes before getting into bed, wore loose nightclothes and had a nice glass of water before settling down.It all helped, but did not stop it.So, I did some more research, because I am truly not a quitter, and I had noticed some encouraging improvements.The first thing I found out, is that the Body uses up Magnesium a heck of a lot faster than I could ever have guessed, so two Capsules in the Morning, will not last and be effective for 24 hours in the Body, also, taking the full 4 Capsules daily all at the same time once a day, will not last for 24 hours.Light bulb moment...... Half way through the last Bottle of Capsules, I started taking 2 in the Morning and then 2 about 10-15 Minutes before Bed, with a nice glass of water. once my body had adjusted to the New routine, The Cramps started to reduce immensely.Now I am at the end of that third Bottle and the Forth is on its way, I am a total convert to this product. I still get Cramp, I probably always will, but it is now becoming a manageable thing, whereas to begin with, it was getting to the point where I could not do anything without there being Cramp in some part of my Body.Now.I will also say, that this product, always arrives promptly, it is always well packaged and I highly recommend it to anyone who either knows they have a Magnesium deficiency, or feels they may have; however, I would encourage anyone, who has not taken Medical advice, to please do so, please make sure with your Doctor, that it is going to benefit you and is not going to interfere with any other prescribed medication you are already taking.For me, it is doing exactly what it needs to do and I am 100 percent happy with the product, the way it is made, the way it is delivered and the way it is packaged, you need to be as sure as I am, before you start buying, and taking, an expensive supplement, like this one, or any other similar product.I hope this helps you to make the choice that is right for you.

Take every night before bed. Helps me sleep and helped stop my eye twitch 😂Would recommend

This magnesium supplement is really effective. For pain relief — Complete pain relief in less than half an hour! So pleased I don’t have to take the strong painkillers my doctor prescribed anymore, this works better & faster. It completely gets rid of severe period pain and ovarian cyst cramps which if anyone reading has had are unbearable, so I can’t recommend this enough!Sleep and relaxation — I take 2 at a time and it also makes me feel very calm. I took magnesium a few years ago for anxiety and it really works to lift my mood, I think I must have stopped because I felt better when the bottle had run out and never thought to repurchase because I didn’t need to as I felt so much better, so it really helps anxiety.But be warned if you take it early afternoon or evening it will make you sleep! Best to take it at night for the best nights sleep ever. I haven’t taken more than 2 capsules at once, so I imagine that taking 3 or 4 would make me feel even better!It’s also completely vegetarian and vegan so perfect for me! And this will last me months to come, I’ve already had it for weeks and it’s still full even though I’ve used it often!I’m not being paid to review this I just think it’s incredible!!

Brilliant supplementAbsolutely perfect sleep after taking one tablet each night

I used to purchase magnesium bisglycinate from a company specialising in excipient-free supplements. Unfortunately, that company's products have risen exponentially, so I had to go elsewhere. Save ionic magnesium (which I purchased a while ago, but wasn't crazy on the taste), this particlar product is the closest I can find to excipient-free, and chelated, at a reasonable price. Due to various chronic, complex ailments, I require a higher dose of magnesium than the average person, and so expected to need double the daily amount stated on the label. NOPE!! I get by fine with 4 of these a day, as recommended (and if they weren't working, my muscles and bones would be screaming at me about it)! That's testament, I guess, to this being a decent product.The only downside is that this does contain magnesium stearate, hence my docking one star; it doesn't appear to be having any detrimental effect that I'm aware of, but it's still an unnecessary addition. Other than that, however, this product cannot be faulted, and I would highly recommend it.

I get restless legs and was waking up in the night with cramps in my calves. I have tried many didn't brands of the same magnesium and this one is the only one that has worked for me. Really good product.

Totally amazed by the results! A friend mentioned to me that she was taking this to help her sleep, having not had a decent night sleep in about 5 years, my curiosity was peaked! Im normally skeptical about natural products as I think they can take so long to work. Not these, I took 4 the first evening instead of 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Slept like a log and have done ever since. I can't actually believe it! Has also helped with my leg cramps. Now I'm telling everyone about this!

Decent product but the price has been creeping up and it can be found much cheaper elsewhere now.
