I was a sceptic at first and bought this off the back of its review strength and star-grade. BOY was I surprised! So here's my two cents: The Good: - This product works - it really works and I saw results just days into use (twice a day) - I've gotten compliments on my teeth and smile now - the first in my 42 years :) - It lasts for such a long time - don't be put off by the size of the jar - it is small but you literally need a pinch of powder at a time! I'm till on my first jar having ordered 3 in total. - It feels like Orthodontist grade stuff and gets your teeth sensationally clean. - I dare say its better than most toothpastes at removing plaque and cleaning. I've used Sensodyne whitening for many years with nowhere near as good effect. The not so Good: - I'm not sure 12GBP is a great price - but then again, 5 tubes of Colgate would cost just as much. - I have a sensitive molar on the right side and that's a little more susceptible to this stuff - The powder is very fine and can stain your sink if you not one of the wash up after yourself types Overall: You may not get your Hollywood smile from this jar, but its a fantastic quality product with REAL results that work. In just 2 weeks I've gone from a slight yellow tinge to a more off-white pearl colour and still whitening. I just wish Id taken some before and after shots if I wasnt such a sceptic in te first place. I'd defo recommend this to anyone who has stained teeth through caffeine based drinks and smoking.

I purchased this product with a "don't expect much, but what harm can it do" attitude from Amazon, mainly because of the many positive reviews, the claimed rrp and subsequent savings, and the bestseller label. So let's get started. Firstly the packaging.... the item comes in a very presentable white box, in contrast to the jar inside, which is a high quality black glass with a ceramic feeling screw cap. The jar exuded quality, and is one of those jars that, if like me, you will want to keep for.....I dunno....something, it just feels too good to simply throw out. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no heat sealed foil beneath the cap, so hold the jar firmly and unscrew carefully to avoid spillage. So to the product...Inside, the product itself is a medium-dark grey powder, which is applied by dipping a dampened toothbrush into the jar and simply start brushing. It is slightly disconcerting at first, as we all tend to look at out progress in the mirror when brushing our teeth. There is no white foamy lather, but a grey watery coating over the teeth. However you can feel the gritty content of the product getting to work on the teeth almost instantly. I haven't noticed any discernable flavour, if any, to the product during use if I'm honest... point to note. . As I'm sure most people have now migrated to electric toothbrushes by now, you will want to turn the toothbrush off when not in your mouth (i.e. when returning to the tap for more water etc) as black splatter will cover the mirror, medicine cabinet, sink, soap holder and anything else on the traverse from mouth to tap, so advise swithching brush off temporarily. The feeling when finished is the highly polished sensation when running your tongue over your teeth. I must state that I do not use this product exclusively, but rather 2 or 3 times a week in conjunction with my regular toothpaste. After using the activated charcoal, I go over the teeth again with my regular toothpaste, primarily for the minty flavour effect, which most of us will agree gives the extra feeling of "clean and fresh" I have deducted half a star for the flavour issue. Ok, the results........I am a smoker and regular coffee / tea drinker, so prone to teeth staining (well I wouldn't probably purchase this product otherwise) as mentioned above, I use the product twice or 3 times a week , and can testify that I have noticed great results, particularly regarding staining along the bottom of the lower front teeth, which were particularly prone to staining. Any smokers reading this will know what I mean. So as far as stain removal and prevention , for me the results have been excellent. I cannot testify to the long term benefits or results as I have only been using for a short time, and haven't noticed much in the way of improvement in the overall whiteness of my teeth ( perhaps using daily and stopping smoking would assist me in this regard) but I have , perhaps unfairly, deducted another half star for the whitening properties of the product.. ***i will hereby mention that In return for a fair and unbiassed review of the product, I have been offered a free sample of other products from the vendor, but this has in no way affected the honesty of the review, I have given this review entirely based on my experience of the product in question***

This product is great, although it looks like someone's ashes once you get over the fear you are smearing your nashers with the remains of someone's grandma it's really a good teeth cleaning tool. You will notice a notable difference in how clean your teeth feel when you rub your tounge across them compared to just toothpaste. On the whitening side I'm not sure about the results, my dear old mother said my teeth were looking whiter but who knows if it really makes a difference, potentially notices a small inclrease in whiteness. My dentist was extremely happy when I last went to him after using this for about three or four weeks but who knows if this is down to my hard work and commitment to ORAL hygiene or if it's down to scrubbing a cremated carcas on my teeth twice daily. Not a bad price which leads me to believe there is a chance this is not human ash and rather it's the ash of some kind or rodent or pet? Who knows but the jar says hand made in small batches which suggest a rodent of some kind, hand burnt which I can only imagine is some kind of inhuman or "inrodent" way of burning them by hand?(rubbing them between palms until turned to powder maybe). Would buy it again and use it while we can, expect it won't be long before we hear about how we have all been using "clinical waste" to whiten our choppas.

I have not noticed any difference in teeth whiteness, but maybe it's too early to tell (I've been using it once a day for 3 weeks or so). The powder tastes nice and is easy to use. It seems to be working just as well as fluoride toothpaste, but without all the toxic chemicals, which makes me very happy. The reason why I gave it three stars is because I think the product is a bit overpriced. Next time I will buy pure charcoal powder and mix it with calcium powder, bentonite clay and peppermint essential oil, which will no doubt work out cheaper.

Well, all day long been reminding myself to do something valuable for others. So I went for a review of this product.! Important: Why have i chosen this product to compare 10`s in my list of purchases just for this month.. Well, simply ... It added most value for its price. Why? I did not expect anything special. I had a big nasty brown stain or how its called in English ( sorry English not even my 2. lang ) you know what from is from coffe and 25-30 cigarettes a day ;-) guy over 30 ... already no sport, not so healthy :) you can imagine .. It looked so scary that i was considering also changing front teeth from time to time and its been nightmare to smile.. Was just trying to make some blind shot from these type of product. I took this one and guess what? :) It not just completely removed ....@x! from my front teeth but it nicely starting cleaning that space between teeth, in general, so it really does what it says.. Don't stop using it consistently That is most important if i think about it.. Sometimes i just brush my teeth and i am too lazy to bother with another 3-4-5 minutes proper brushing with this OMg .. guess what? go for it and it really pays off .. . I think it's not even 10 days i have better results that i would realistically expect in 2-3 months on daily using. For me: I will not stop using it and i feel it might become my must-have -evergreen thingie for daily using. HIGHLY recommend. Sorry for too long, but it was just so important to put my real case, because it matters ..

I don't often leave review, and waited a while before leaving this one because I wanted to ensure I gave an appropriate amount of time for the product to work. There are many products on the market that promise to give you instant results. It's hard to believe the marketing hype for these types of products so I have never bought any of them - as well as the fact they are all extremely expensive. Another route to take if you want whiter teeth is to have professional teeth whiting, which works well but has two major downside - once again it is highly expensive, and secondly the results you receive are not long lasting, a couple of weeks later after your routine intake of coffee and your teeth are back to the same colour. Activated Charcoal however is different... To my knowledge there are no negative damaging effects on your teeth so is fine for long term use. The results you receive from this product are not over night, you're not going to wake up the next morning with pearly whites. However, over the course of a couple of weeks I have noticed a definite improvement in the shade of my teeth. This is a product that will continually improve the colour of your teeth over a period of time, and thus shouldn't be bought if you want a quick fix. This is for people who want long term permanent results. In addition to whitening your teeth, your mouth also feels very clean afterwards which I find to be a great feeling :) Thank you for creating such a cheap product that is effective at teeth whitening I will be purchasing again when my current tub rubs out, and it's highly likely I will continue to buy this in the future :)

I’ve used this product once a day for a week and don’t see much of a difference - granted one week is not enough time to judge this product. I have sensitive teeth and this product does not affect me negatively. However I will point out that although I brought the variant advertised as mint flavour the powered tastes horrible and grimy and nothing like peppermint also I don’t get the jet black colour when brushing my teeth like other users, I get a light grey colour. 2 Week - UPDATE After two weeks I can say I have noticed a slight improvement in my teeth, nothing drastic but it is definitely removing small yellow (coffee) stains from my teeth which makes them appear whiter. This solution is a weaker alternative to others in the market - hence brushing twice a day and not once a week for other products. So its likely to see results a couple weeks after using. 1 month - UPDATE I’ve come to the conclusion that this product DOES NOT work on longer term teeth stains.

I have begun using this tooth powder in place of Eucryl, my typical brand, because I had heard recommendations of charcoal as a softer but still effective abrasive. Upon receiving it I found that while it does have charcoal in it, the main ingredient is actually bentonite, so it is grey rather than a true black. I was dubious to say the least. Worse my first experience was bad, I moistened my toothbrush to the degree that I would with Eucryl, resulting in picking up a lot more powder than I expected. This is a much more absorbent powder and you should use a VERY sparing amount. Large amounts of powder turn your mouth into a mass of clay slip and is uniquely disagreeable. However, after adjusting the amount I used I found that it does indeed clean better than Eucryl, whitens my teeth more, and leaves a better taste in my mouth (less harsh, less chemical), as well as freshening my breath more successfully. Overall I'm quite happy, it does what it claims, but I wish it was clearer about the ingredients (not being entirely or even principally activated charcoal) and advised more caution about overloading the brush (which would not be a problem with a pure charcoal product as it wouldn't turn to clay mud in your mouth). It works great, but when I run out (which will legitimately take a long time) then I may try another brand and see if I can find a pure charcoal product to compare it to.

È la seconda volta che acquisto questo prodotto in quanto credo che sia il migliore nello sbiancamento naturale dei denti. Arriva in un barattolino di vetro dal coperchio di plastica ed è facile da utilizzare in quanto basta apporne una piccola quantità sul palmo della mano e inzupparci lo spazzolino. Dopodiché si spazzolano i denti normalmente, anche se personalmente preferisco allungare un po' il tempo di lavaggio dei denti per assicurarmi di spazzolare bene ciascun dente. Dopo una settimana circa da quando si inizia ad usare il prodotto 2 volte al giorno, si inizia a vedere una notevole differenza fra il prima ed il dopo. Avendo provando altri prodotti posso dire con sicurezza che questo è sicuramente il miglior prodotto per sbiancare naturalmente i denti. Inoltre dura davvero tantissimo. Consiglio vivamente.

I know I have some older pics somewhere but I am writing this review late at night and she is asleep so I will have to attach some photos another time The photo I posted is of my own teeth and they have never looked whiter. I am thrilled with this purchase. I have had professional bleaching trays done in the past and zoom another time and I am happier with the charcoal then both of those. Although the bleaching trays were definitely worth it, lasted for about 10 years and was more comfortable than the zoom treatment, the charcoal is quick, easy, cheap and instant results. My daughter had YELLOW teeth. I was literally embarrassed to take her photo's because even though she brushes her teeth, she is not a good brusher and literally dreads teeth brushing time. Along with hating brushing, she is also an experienced mini tea drinker. I am sure the tea doesn't help. BUT, I kid you not, we used the charcoal 1 time and I was one happy momma. It was as if she had magically turned into a good brusher. Her teeth are nice, shiny and no longer yellow. I swear, after 1 use!!!!!! She has only used the charcoal 2 x now because her hate of brushing has not gone away so if it is hard to get her to use the toothpaste, then adding charcoal to the mix is just another addition to her dread. I am no longer worried about photo's anymore. I did not see instantaneous results on myself but my teeth weren't super yellow to begin with. I think I saw the drastic change with her because she had very yellow teeth. This stuff is a miracle worker. However I have heard charcoal is abrasive so you may want to research that and if it is true, then maybe use this occasionally or just until the desired results and then as needed theron after. Color del polvo gris , sabor agradable casi inexistente. Cumple función al 100% . En dos días de cepillado ha quitado manchas en los dientes . Mi dentadura es color marfil así q blanco no podrá ser nunca pero si he visto una aclaración del marfil .

Der Artikel hält definitiv, was er verspricht. Zugegeben ist das mein erstes richtiges Zahnaufhellungsprodukt (von der typischen, sowieso nicht funktionierenden Zahlaufhellungszahnpasta abgesehen) und meine Zähne sind definitiv heller und ich bin definitiv zufrieden. Ich habe die Aktivkohle immer mit einer feuchten Zahnbürste direkt von der Dose aufgenommen, und obwohl ich befürchtet habe, dass es negative Auswirkungen auf das Produkt hat (Klümpchen etc.), war alles in Ordnung damit. Dann mit der Aktivkohle die Zähne wie immer geputzt, nur gründlicher, Mund ausgespült und nochmal mit Zahnpasta nachgeputzt. Alles gut, nichts Kompliziertes. Natürlich ist das Putzen mit der Aktivkohle etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wirklich nur etwas. Je mehr Pulver man nimmt, desto trockener wird die Angelegenheit auch, aber irgendwann weiß man, wie viel man wirklich braucht. Der Geschmack ist neutral und nicht störend. Meine Zähne hab ich auf diese Art und Weise zweimal am Tag geputzt und eigentlich direkt habe ich gemerkt, dass sich die Zähne sauberer anfühlen. Nach ungefähr drei Tagen ist mir dann auch aufgefallen, dass meine Zähne deutlich heller geworden sind. Also mit Erfolg gekrönt! Naiverweise hatte ich mir wirklich strahlend weiße Zähne wie aus der Werbung gewünscht, was aber natürlich Unsinn ist, da das Produkt eine natürliche Basis hat und niemals den Weißheitsgrad einer unnatürlichen Behandlung erreichen kann. Aber wie gesagt: meine Zähne haben sich definitiv aufgehellt! Und gefühlt wird sich die Dose auch ewig halten. Ich habe die ersten anderthalb Wochen das Pulver 2x täglich benutzt, was ich nun aber nicht mehr als nötig empfinde. Jetzt wird damit geputzt, wenn man etwas mehr Zeit im Bad hat, alle zwei, drei Tage. Sollte meiner Meinung nach nicht weiter schaden :) Das Döschen wird sich so sicherlich über Monate halten; wenn man es kontinuierlich zweimal täglich benutzt, sollten meiner Meinung nach aber auch locker zwei Monate drin sein. Also: Top Produkt, welches definitiv die Zähne aufhellt und sauberer macht. Es ist ein natürliches Produkt und die Prozedur ist schmerzfrei und auch nicht unangenehm (auch wenn man sich an das Zähneputzen mit Pulver etwas gewöhnen muss). Kann es nur empfehlen!
