Kinglemc Crash Bar Engine Guard Highway Bar for Honda 750 VT750 VT750C VT400 Shadow Aero Phantom Spirit (Black)

They look great, widen the bike a little and very sturdy. Like it could've come with them. I did have to turn the horn 90° in front of the radiator but not a big deal. Perfect fit on my 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit vt750c2f.

The first thing I noticed, I didn't get all the parts that supposedly was supposed to come with it. I was missing one washer per bolt. I got this and was very excited to install it. However, unbeknownst to me, there was a bolt broken off in the top radiator hole. So, I attempted to take off the foot peg bolts that I had already put on so it would stay upright. That's when the troubles began. While taking off the right, longer bolt, it got stuck. The use of cheap nuts in the product made it to where it was literally impossible to take off. I literally had to spend over $100 to go out and buy a reciprocating saw to CUT the bolt in two so I could remove it. This is not good quality, and for me, was entirely a waste of $170. Actually, more like $300 with the reciprocating saw I had to buy. I would not recommend these at all. Spend the extra money and get a good highway bar, it's worth it in the end. I wouldn't even be able to get a refund because I had to cut the crash bar to get the bolt off. It was not good.

I like them, installed easy but I did have to adjust the horn bracket. They are nice looking and sturdy. Took me about 15 minutes to install.

I would like to start off by saying that, for the cost, this is a very well made and great looking set of engine guards. Unfortunately the fitment of the mounting tabs were not perfectly lined up with my model which was on the list in the description. The two on either side by the foot pegs, fit perfectly. The top mount, upper radiator mount, tab was off to the right by 1.5 inches as you can see from my photo. Also, in that picture, you will see the small spacer bracket I made to accommodate this fitment issue. It worked perfectly and now it is mounted well. If the top mounting tab had been placed correctly from purchase, this engine guard would have received 5 stars.

I was looking for something that would fit 2024 because everything I found only went to 2023. Theses fit great. I think they must have changed the center bracket. Now it’s about a 1 inch oval so you can move the center to wear ever you need it. Chrome finish is great. We’ll see how it holds up, but for now, I’m 100% happy with my choice.

The company wrote me saying parts might be missing on their crashbar before I had the chance to install it. They sent me the missing part to Canada, free of charge, even though the bars were originally shipped to the USA. The bars are well made and feel solid, but were a pain to get the holes to line up with the bike, but I expected that. Overall great product and service.

So the description stated that it fit my 2018 Honda shadow phantom it did not. I read a review prior to purchasing where the guy had to modify it basically heat it up and bend one side of it to get it to fit well I’m not doing that because its supposed to fit without doing that. When your sitting on the bike the right side if all bolts are loose fits barely, the left side is off by 2-3 inches and if you try and force it into place it puts pressure on the radiator bolt which is not a good thing. So here it is it says it fits not true you will have to modify it which is not what you are supposed to be doing to something that’s supposed to fit your bike. I think they tried to make it universal knowing that you would probably have to modify it here and there. All in all very disappointing

Took about 20 minutes to install. Didn’t have to move horn. Came with fresh bolts but was missing lock washers specified in the instructions. No biggie. Had to lean some weight on it to get the bolt through on the brake side but not a big deal. Looks great. High quality. Recommend.

Nothing to dislike, it was a firm tight fit and sits well on my bike. The centre bolt alignment slightly off but with a firm push it fits. I'm really happy with it.

Crash bar looks great, every bit worth the money i paid and made the bike look so much better, fitted well with a bit of a struggle at first but very happy

I wanted to write a detailed review as I had some concerns before ordering. 1. Whatever you do DONT use the lock nuts provided. Like another customer mentioned mine seized up completely halfway which meant I could not tighten it and had to spend 1hr of very heavy wrenching removing the bolt (See picture). I emailed the supplier and asked for a $60 refund for extra time and extra bolts I had to buy KINGLEMC provided the $60 back. 2. Like alot of highway bars sold for Honda Shadows these bolt at the radiator bolt. For me that presented another problem as if anything happened to that bolt you would damage your radiator - as many riders have already experienced. There also was some flex in the bars the bars while riding due to that 3 point design. I ended up adding some Hydraulic P Clamps and fixing them to the frame with some longer bolts using the existing plastic fairing fixture holes. It feels ALOT more secure now and should be included in this package. (See Pictures before and after) 3. Bars are slightly wider on the left side which means you are a bit cramped on the right side where unfortunately you need even more space due to the air filter box. I recon if the design was reversed and the right had a bit more width they would be perfect. Horn also had to be rotated to make room for the bar. 4. Bars are comfy to rest legs on but can be slippery due to the steel finish, I ended up cutting up a rubber floor matt and rolling it around the foot rests to give extra grip. It felt so much more secure today riding and I could feel my feet were not going to slide off. I was a bit disappointed that the bars were made in China despite being shipped from the USA, I had hoped American steel was used as there was no mention of origin when ordering. Overall a nice product, the design has alot of potential but it is a little bit overpriced for what it currently is (I paid $330 Australian Dollars). With a few corrections like I mentioned above this could be a really great product.
