Burgon & Ball GKN Kneelo Knee Pads, Gooseberry

These are very comfy and do protect your knees I use them for gardening and housework would recommend can’t comment on durability due to having only used them for a little while but so far so good

These had good reviews on a number of gardening equipment websites and the price from Amazon was very attractive. Different colours were differently priced, go for the cheapest priced colour. Fuctionally they are all the same and all very good at their job. They provide excellent padding and enable pain free kneeling for garden work. The velcro straps work well and stay fixed tight during use.

The memory foam padding is excellent and the pads are sturdy; however they slip down and then soil and stones enter through the hole at the top and work their way underneath - leading to dirty knees! More work needed on the design! What is the purpose of the holes anyway??

I had a cheaper set of knee pads that were so uncomfortable I gave up wearing them. So glad I found this. Very cushioned and the straps are soft so they don’t sit into the back of your legs. Recommended. They are neoprene so if they get wet they will take a while to dry but that’s a small price to pay for the increased comfort

I bought some of these for my Dad and now find I need them myself! They last well (his have done at least 5 years), are reasonably comfortable to do gardening or DIY in, and definitely help with the pain when doing lots of kneeling down. I wish I'd got them before my knees got so bad. Great colour too - mine are purple.

These knee pads, I thought, would be the saviour of my knees. Unfortunately, they slip down my legs constantly and annoyingly. Doesn't matter how tight the Velcro straps are fastened. Also one pad has already worn through after just 3 months of use.

Have always used a kneeling pad but was recommended these knee pads. It was a revelation! Easy to put on then I could move along the flower bed without having to stand up and down. They are thick enough to protect against stones but not too thick that I couldn't walk.

Gave these to my mum as a gift and she really liked them. She did comment that they slid off a bit when she was wearing loose trousers, so she put them under her trousers and said they stopped sliding. I think if these were over tight fitting trousers (like leggings) you wouldn't have an issue with them sliding. She said they were very comfortable and better than her previous ones.
