I was on the implant for a few months when it really started to effect my emotions. I was told I had to go onto the pill for a week while still having the implant so that when they removed the implant I was still protected. Going back on the pill for a few months was much better but I decided I wanted to come off birth control altogether. I don't know exactly what happened, because I've been on the pill before and been fine but this time my emotions were severely bad. I was breaking down all the time over sometimes nothing at all and I had no patience what so ever. I was an emotional wreck. They say your body changes after you turn 30 so maybe my body reacted differently when I came off the pill this time or maybe it was the implant as I was warned by a friend not to get it as she had a bad experience herself. I'm not sure, all I know is when I went online looking for answers I got a real shock when I saw how many women had the same emotional problems when coming off birth control. Agnus castus is one of the solutions that kept coming up a lot and antidepressants did as well but I wanted to leave them as a last resort. Lots of people were praising it and we're getting positive results. Turns out I didn't need the antidepressants. Agnus castus really really helped me, took a few months to get into my system but once it did I felt like myself again! Relief! I take one in the morning and one in the evening, everyday as stated on box. If you are trying this to help with conception then start taking on first day of your period, one in morning & one in evening. Once you start ovulating, stop taking them. Then start them again on first day of next period until you are ovulating again. Do not take them while pregnant as you are not supposed to, this is why you stop taking them once you are ovulating as I read numerous times online it is not supposed to be safe and may cause miscarriage. They said something about how it may cause minor contractions but don't think they had a lot of evidence to back it up. Better to be safe than sorry so my preference would be to stop when ovulating. I can't do without this supplement, it makes a huge difference to how I feel all month round but most especially during my period, when I double up on the dose for a few days before and during. They were recommended to me by a qualified holistic practitioner friend and later confirmed as a good supplement to take by a gynaecologist consultant I saw for suspected PCOS. They have helped alleviate often time crippling PMS symptoms which would result in me feeling human only for a week or so every month - that's no way to live and no-one should have to endure that. These supplements help with bloating, low mood, irritability, over sensitivity & heightened emotions, irrational feelings of anger and low self worth, food cravings and extreme tiredness. They help to balance things out all month long. I do not take these to assist with irregular ovulation but I like to think they help with that also, I don't personally have that issue (yet!!). I would highly recommend these for anyone who suffers even a jot of PMS along with Magnesium citrate which I also use.

After I had my tubes tied a few years ago I started having dreadful heavy periods and horrible PMS. mood swings, bloating, breast tenderness... It was miserable. I can’t quite believe how amazing these have been for me. I had struggled for about a year feeling very, very low but after doing a mood diary I realised it was always from the start of ovulation to my cycle ending. (I also believe it’s got worse since I stopped dairy and no longer have the oestrogen from milk topping me up, but I cant guarantee that’s correct just my feelings). So, for at least 2 weeks I’d feel absolutely awful. I was ready to ask for a hysterectomy. My mood was very low and I was very snappy. I’d feel exhausted, unwell, teary, you name it that was me. I finally feel free from the grasps of the hormone imbalance. I’ve not had any side effects, I panicked when these went out of stock but found some elsewhere under a different name. These are my miracle pills. I take one in the morning and one at night.

worked fine at first and cleared up my spots but now my periods last up to 14 days with heavy bleeding and clotting and i have to change my pad every hour and this was a nightly pad too, the worst was 3 weeks of constant bleeding, i'm very anemic so this didn't help at all, went to AE to get some help and they wanted to do a emergency hysterectomy! they didn't even ask me what i was taking and i wasn't happy about it. thank goodness i found the source of the problem it was these pills causing the issues, as soon as i stopped taking it my current period has stopped but i'm still cramping a bit and don't know why, maybe it's ovulating idk, i'm looking for some supplement to help rebalance everything but don't know where to start with that. if i ever decide to take these again which is looking very slim i'm going to be very cautious about doing so and maybe talk to my GP for some advice, i don't want the heavy bleeding to start again.

HAVE TO GIVE 5 STARS!! On 2nd bottle so 2 mths in. My severe anxiety has improved greatly. Before taking the AC i was a mess! Signed off sick with stress and anxiety for 5 mths. Night panics/daytime anxiety/severe evening anxiety. So many hormone related symptoms i cant count. Been trying to fix my hormone imbalance ( perimenopause ) for around 10 yrs+ have been left with claustraphobia and now agoraphobia setting in. This is the best product I have ever taken. For 2 years I have had low results on progesterone and my samples are always 0.4 throughout the month regardless when I take the urine sample. I am 39 thought I was going through premenopause because I was bleeding during ovulation and so I started these 3 months ago just one a day and they stopped the bleeding.
