Very fun product
Great product, but I'm only leaving three stars seeing as mine stopped working after about 2 - 3 weeks of useWeight: The Longboard is heavy & can be carried under one hand but is much easier to be carried under twoSpeed: I'm 70kg & so I easily achieved 14mph in this but it does depend on your weight how fast it will cruiseThe E-Go Cruiser's grip tape is brand new so expect a lot of scratches on your hands & rips on your clothes depending on how you carry itThe board usually charges in 3-5 hours depending on how you ride it, on the other hand the controller doesn't need to be charged so frequently maybe a charge every 4 days. The wheels on the board are big enough & strong enough to handle the cracks in the streets of London, although the E-Go is more suited to a smooth path you can rest assured that it can handle the not so perfected roads or pavements. When riding for the first time I was on the turtle mode & Eco mode, which were very slow as they get you used to how the board handlesAfter 25 minutes I restarted the board & switched it to the Hare mode & Sport Mode which optimized the speed which is an amazing thrill going on flat roads & down hill.Maybe it was just me, but the braking on Sport mode is more responsive & reacts quicker to the brake while it's on Eco mode, that could do with Eco mode recharging the battery when you brake, but for someone who rides fast, they also need to brake fast, so Sport mode is where i spent most of my time.As for the noise of the motor, not many people notice it until you're passing them by, a lot of dogs do though & for some reason want to chase itThe lower the battery goes the lower the sound on the motor will be as well as the slower the board becomes, you notice this when the board hits 50%.Overall the Ego is a great product, especially when not many people realise it's an Electric skateboard until they see the Motor or battery underneath, for £500 it's very expensive but with a slew of other boards coming out & it becoming a big trend more people will either be looking elsewhere or parts for the board will reduce, so in time the board may reduce as well. That's all for my review feel free to ask any questions.

17 miles range is Better Value for money - 14mph is fast enough
I bought E-Go Cruiser Electric Skateboard back in November 2015. waited a bit so i get to know the board better before i write a review so yh here it is... after nearly 2+ months of useI bought it for only £499 and it was FREE delivered from California USA. i was worried that i might have to pay custom fees for it when it arrives in UK. but yh thank god guys from Butik Concept (seller) took care of it really well. i didnt pay a single penny and it was fast delivery too! took only 5 days to come and I was tracking it everyday :DAbout the EGO Cruiser....I have never ever tried skateboard in my life before. initially wanted hoverboard but they are terrible for streets of London and uneven pavements and very dangerous as they don't have breaks so i went for ego cruiser because it has. EGO cruiser was Brand new boxed and it came with UK power adapter with it. It came pre charged so i took it for a spin right away. at first i couldn't even get up and stand on it without falling but after trying 40+ mins and watching YouTube tutorials i was more confident and was able to fully move about. Honestly saying the feeling i experienced was unbelievable and still do, nothing i ever experienced before.without trying it you wont ever know. when you use it for first time board will set to slowest mode. i would recommend you to keep it that way until you are confident enough. To go side to side you just put pressure with your toe and heels forward and backward thats it - [read the user guide]. once i was confident enough i moved it to Speed: ECO to SPORTS mode (Switch is on the remote) and Acceleration: Turtle to Hare (switch is on the skateboard). and it was mind blowing, in spots mode it breaks instantly unlike EGO mode bit slow . Going fast as 14mph with full charge was definitely FAST for me (see picture.. used GPS tacking app from Google play store). once you get it, keep doing practice in empty pavement / space to be safe.it does very well in cracks of pavement, small rocks but flops in big ones especially the motor side. btw forgot to mention i have been riding for 2+ months and police wasn't bothered about me riding it (because i was keeping safety in mind). went past in front of Police many times in London so yh its safe;) . any ways with full charge i went 17 miles prox total (3hrs charge) in sports mode.Suggestions and Recommendations:1. if you are planning to ride on the busy road etc MAKE sure to MUST get a HIGH VISIBLE vest, skateboard helmet and a pair of skate gloves. its a must. all cost me only £23 from sports direct. safety is a must especially for your head. be careful about local road laws.2. i also bought pair of silicon Bike lights from eBay was only £2. its a must if you ride at night like i do (see picture)3. Careful first couple of weeks of use, board has very sharp grip tape on top, it will easily cut your hand and rip / tear your cloths if you dont be careful. happened to me.4. DO NOT take it out in rain / go through puddles at all its not weather proof. you will damage the motor easily5. Lose the KING PIN (Front nut) little bit if it doesnt do turns and curves (see youtube)Pros - (What i like)+++++ 17 miles range sports mode+ 14mph, 13.5mph and 12.4mph SPEED depends on the battery charge+ works for 3hrs non stop and charges in 3-4hrs fully+ Remote can be charged using Mobile phone charger and lasts for 2 weeks ++ its big and riding is very easy+ Smooth ride+ carbon fibre texture underneath, Easy to clean+ Makes everyone turn head and wonder how you going so fast+ iOS app, can be controlled using just phone. No android app.+ Saves my Oyster Travel fareCons - (Dislike)- Doesn't do very well in rain, puddles, very wet surface as much as dry area. [ stay in DRY area only ]- Not weather Proof at all.- Doesn't go backwards (i would love that feature)- Motor Cover underneath is very bad positioned. this is the only thing gets scratched / damaged all the time. strongly dislike that. i would probably have to replace that soon if i dont be careful often. for now im using Foam that came with its box to reduce the impact.- many people will ask about it while you riding.Overall -I will recommend anyone to buy it, its full of fun i tell ya. highly recommended over other boards. if they fix the flaws it would be perfect.just make sure you keep the safety in mind and keep the board clean after every ride. it will definitely last very long. keep up Cruising.:)

Great board
Bought for my son for Christmas, he loves it. It did unfortunately stopped working after a couple of months, we returned it to the seller and we received the board back within about 3 weeks, fully repaired and have had no problems with it since.

Fab board, but everything in German.
Great board and loving it, but badly packed (have they sent me a refurbished board?), instructions in German, and German power adapter. All solvable, but could be improved.

Perfect.
I’ve been using this for the past 3 weeks and I love it. Perfect for my commute to/from work. I have had no problems (remeber to buy an adapter or replace the plug as I did). The ride on pavements is great (even the roughest parts). I would highly recommend finding a quiet place to practice and find your balance and to learn the board & remote.
