Beto SP-002AGN Alloy Bike Shock Pump with Gauge, Silver

Pleasantly surprised by the durability Review: I've had this pump for around four years, using it on the fork of my Trek Xcaliber for trail riding. When it arrived I was slightly taken aback by how compact it is, and wasn't entirely sure it would stand up to regular use. Four years later I'm happy to say those doubts were unfounded. It reads pressure accurately, connects securely, and has shown no signs of wear or failure. For an accessory you don't use constantly but need to work reliably when you do, it's been ideal. Worth being aware of the size if you're expecting something chunkier, but don't let that put you off. It's well made and does exactly what it needs to.

So far so good with this pump, although admittedly it is still early days. Item arrive well packaged, and was easy to remove from the manufacturer’s packaging. The shock pump is very easy to connect to air valves. Sure, you get a little air escaping when removing the pump, but you get that with all shock pumps. My previous Specialized pump did exactly the same. It pumps shock well, and has a handy little air release button that can be pressed to release air in the event that you over inflate your shocks. To be fair previous pumps I’ve owned had one of these, but it’s worth mentioning in case you’ve never owned a shock pump before. The air gauge/dial is easy to read, contrary to what other review may lead you to believe. Perhaps the face of the dial has changed colour over the years? The pump is neither heavy nor light. It is what I would expect of a shock pump, a good overall balance of weight and quality. Shock pumps are one of those things that the majority of people will only use a handful of times. Sure, some of the more hardcore MTB riders out there will tweak their shocks every time they hit the trails, but most of us set our shocks up based on our weight and pretty much stick to that setup. For these people I have absolutely no issues with recommending this product. I can’t comment on how durable it is when using on a daily or weekly basis, but I will update this review further down the line after 6/12 months and add a fifth star if it has stood the test of time. Definitely would recommend this pump for your shocks, I used an ordinary bike pump to start with which didn't work. Tried this one work brilliantly so would recommend.

You never know what you'll get when you buy cheap. This seemed too cheap tbh, but then I know the plan would be to use this once a year perhaps maybe more, so worth the risk. I just used it for the first time and it does exactly what it should do. I pumped to correct pressure and it lost virtually zero air when I took off the connector. It even has a button for releasing some air if go too far. I certainly recommend it and hopefully in 6 months it will work as good as today.

I bought my first full suspension mountain bike at the start of the year, It has full air suspension meaning front and rear is air. The pump is well built and made out of a nice quality metal, the whole product oozes quality, it has a guage that reads up to 400 psi, the shocks are easy to pump up as the pump does most of the work! This pump has a red bleed button and extracts some of the air making it accurate to setup your shocks air pressures. Overall I'm pumped!

This shock pump was the cheapest one i could find on amazon, and for the price its not bad, it pumps well and the button to release air releases a bit too much with each click i would say, but it works normally. The thread sometimes comes loose with a few accidental turns on the edge of the tube and would leak air if you dont fix it, but its just a small problem. unscrewing the pump loses a bit much air than other shock pumps but you just have to compromise but pumping 3-5 more pumps before unscrewing it, a shock pump isn't a accessory where you need the best quality as once you dial your suspension you'll rarely use it, so for the price its pretty nice.

Excellent quality and great value for its price and function. I used this pump to set the pressure in my FOX rear air shock. For my weight, I needed 200 psi and this pump was easy to contol, allowing for subtle adjustments up and down. The built-in gauge is essential, and it's compact size makes it a good addition to any portable tool kit.

J'ai acheté cette pompe pour la suspension de mon VTT. Je voulais éviter d'être obligé de me rendre en magasin de vélo juste pour gonfler une suspension. Du coup le prix et les avis concernant cette pompe ont contribué à mon choix et je ne regrette pas. Elle est compacte, la qualité semble être là, le manomètre très pratique et précis. De plus son système de poignée pliable est bien pensé et permet à cette pompe de se ranger facilement sans tenir de place sachant que le produit est déjà compact. Concernant la solidité donc je ne mets que 4 étoiles la 5ème étant l'inconnu je ne peux pas l'évaluer en si peu de temps. Livraison rapide.Je recommande

Ich habe die Pumpe für meine Federgabel bzw. den Dämpfer bestellt und bin im Großen und Ganzen sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung macht einen soliden Eindruck, die Aluminium-Ausführung fühlt sich wertig an und sie liegt gut in der Hand. Das Einstellen und Ablesen des Drucks funktioniert im Prinzip zuverlässig, auch wenn das Manometer ein kleines bisschen genauer sein könnte bzw. das Feinablassen über den Ablassknopf etwas Fingerspitzengefühl erfordert. Am Ende tut sie aber absolut das, was sie soll, und der Druck lässt sich präzise genug anpassen. Für den Preis eine klare Empfehlung und solide 4 Sterne!

This model seems to be well made, it works very well and is an attractive design to round out a great pump. If you are familiar with shock pumps, this may go without saying... but, I think that some of the negative reviews may have been due to not using it correctly. It has a threaded cap that you utilize to keep air from leaking out in the process. This was my first shock pump. I tried it without understanding the cap function and it lost pressure. When I used it as intended, VERY minimal pressure lost (probably close to none).
