Can i use this to wrap cement bonded asbestos? my council have said that i can use shrink wrap for sheets that are too big to fit in clear bags. thank

if the council excepts then use it try wraping it diaoganly over lapping by 50% and two layers if these are roofing sheets unless the sheets are old and the surface fieable be carefull other wise the risk is low sheets manufactured after 1972 dont contain asbestos fibers

Can I use this as a ‘lid’ for my ikea trofast boxes to keep the Lego in when moving house?

Possibly but think of this stuff as being somewhere between food clingfilm and polythene sheeting. You might have to wrap the cling film round it a few times and also don't expect to be able to safely stack one cling filmed box on top of another - its not the equivalent of a plastic lid. It will protect the box and contents from dirt and rain though if you do use it.

Is the core size 50mm on these tubes??

If you mean the inside diameter of the tube then I would say more like 38/40mm.

do you think this would be ok to wrap items like fridge freezer to prevent scratches while moving ?

Yes I would say is would be perfect for that. I used it to wrap furniture up with. Wrap it round about 3 or 4 times.
