With the barest of water additions, they turn creamy, and go on the page beautifully. I’ve used other Gansai Tambi products, and these are probably my favorite of the several sets I have. Wonderful range of colors in this set, which feel very Asian in tone. I’ll buy more from this company! Review: Lovely soft pastel leaning set, fun to paint fantasy scenes. - You really can't go wrong with Kuretake products. They make a variety of 12, 24, and 48 ct. Sets. Each one has a different color theme. This is the 2nd set I've purchased. These paints tend to be like a crossbreed between true watercolors, and Gouache, so they aren't all transparent colors. I'm super happy with this set the colors are magical and remain a slight bit shiny when dry. ## Features - [GANSAI TAMBI] It is traditional, Japanese watercolor, developing colors that are based off of those seen in nature. Colors are vivid and opaque, and pans are carefully fill so that the paint is smooth, rather than granulated, and dries with a slight sheen. Individual pans are replaceable. - [Ink] Unique technology allows for the development of pigment ink that leaves flat-washes easily, while remaining easy to blend. Gansai Tambi ink can be diluted to create a more watercolor-like picture, while still remaining bright and opaque, or can be used as a gauche by limiting water dilution. Ink dries with a slight sheen - [Brush Dexterity] Gansai Tambi Pans are much larger than typical watercolor pans, giving you the ability to use both small or large brushes quite easily. - [Ideal Gift Set] Packaged in a simple cardboard box with elegant green washi overlay. Perfect for gifts. - [About us] Kuretake Co., Ltd. founded in 1902 and celebrate 120th anniversary this year, so Kuretake introduced “Art nouveau” tastes into Gansai Tambi new set, which was a trend in Europe back in our year of the establishment. The concept is based in “Art nouveau” though, balanced colors are chosen, and you can create any illustration only with this set. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B87XPWB2 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,434 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #93 in Art Paints | | Brand | Kuretake | | Brand Name | Kuretake | | Color | 24 colors set | | Color Code | #008000 | | Container Type | Box | | Coverage | Opaque | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 1,783 Reviews | | Dry Time In Hours | 4 | | Finish Type | Adjustment | | Full Cure Time | 24 hours | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04901427329797 | | Included Components | Palette | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Form | Solid | | Item Volume | 0.3 kg | | Item Weight | 100 g | | Manufacturer | Kuretake | | Model Name | Gansai Tambi | | Model Number | MC20/24VII | | Paint Type | Watercolor | | Part Number | MC20/24VII | | Size | 24 Count (Pack of 1) | | Special Feature | Water-based pigment | | Special Features | Water-based pigment | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior/Exterior | | Surface Recommendation | Paper | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kuretake - **Color:** 24 colors set - **Finish Type:** Adjustment - **Indoor/Outdoor Usage:** Indoor, Outdoor - **Item Volume:** 0.3 kg - **Paint Type:** Watercolor - **Size:** 24 Count (Pack of 1) - **Special Feature:** Water-based pigment - **Specific Uses For Product:** Interior/Exterior - **Surface Recommendation:** Paper ## Images ![GANSAI TAMBI 24 Art nouveau colours - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vnlDEzhCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why isn't this product shipping, weeks after the order and delivery date have passed?** A: We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. The paints are more opaque than most water colors in the US and remind me of a hybrid between gouache and watercolor with thier opacity. I would buy more colors and I love the brand’s color story. While i can mix my own I found these inspiring to work with. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kuretake GANSAI TAMBI Watercolor Paint Set 24 Colors II - Art nouveau, Professional-quality art supplies for artists adult painting aketching, Non-Toxic, Made in Japan - ARTEGRIA Watercolor Brush Set, 10 Soft Synthetic Squirrel Paint Brushes, Including Pointed Rounds, Flats, Dagger, Oval Wash - Hapikalor Watercolor Paper Pad, 9"x12" Water Color Paper, 140lb/300gsm Artist Painting Drawing Paper Book, Art Supplies for Adults Kids, Watercolors, Watercolor Paint Set, Sketchbook, Journal, Teal --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/478591864-gansai-tambi-24-art-nouveau-colours](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/478591864-gansai-tambi-24-art-nouveau-colours) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
