This stuff works almost immediately and it really does put a stop to those stomach annoyances sometimes even for a couple of days! My IBS days can be so random, sometimes I'll go days without much issues and others I can't even finish my dinner without having to sprint to the bathroom! It's a real nightmare and it makes eating out pretty much impossible. However, that all changed when I started using these! They don't have a taste, maybe a tiny bit salty? But what people are saying about it being "thick" and "impossible to swallow, they just need to follow it with a drink and it's not a problem! I'm very much a texture guy and I don't have any problems getting these down me. The worst part about them is that it totally coats your mouth and it IS thick, but a couple swigs of water and you're golden, you'll forget you even had it! Seriously don't let the texture put you off the incredible effectiveness of this product.

My first review was rejected for being too truthful...so here is the modified version! I have on/off digestion issues. Something triggers these issues but despite keeping a food diary, it is still not clear what that yet is. I was recommended this to try when I experienced any issues. I have tried in in water and straight from the tube/sachet, where I carry one in my handbag at all times. it is almost tastless. it is a chalky like gel and not unpleasant to take. It sooths any issues. It does mention to take away from any drugs so as not to affect absorption. Recommended.

They do the job and do it great, however if you have ibs-m or c be careful, and use only occasionally or every other day when it’s needed. Can make constipation a lot worse.

Highly recommend this product. Wouldn't be without it. Helps sooth digestion problems quickly.

Occasionally, due to illness, overindulgence, dodgy food or stress, I get stomach issues. I used to take Pepto Bismol, but that is quite difficult to get hold of in the UK. These little sachets are a great replacement and perfect for settling and calming a gripey stomach. They have been invaluable when travelling and have allowed me to attend work or social functions without spending the whole time in the bathroom! The main disadvantage of this medicine is that it doesn't taste very nice but at least it does not contain artificial sweeteners or flavourings. Overall, this Silicogel has helped me on many occasions and I always keep a few sachets in my wash bag for emergencies.

Very expensive for the quantity you get. The gel itself seems to work for me..

Works fantastic for me everytime I have a IBS flare or diarrhoea but only problem after recent blood test they have noticed I am slightly malnourished due to food and medication not being properly absorbed. So be advised if your on medication and food general.

Great for your handbag on the go great results so far but still early days
