I eat a gluten-free Morning Glory Muffin with my coffee every morning. My muffin recipe calls for maple syrup and almond nut butter. I gave the Octonuts MAPLE Almond Nut Butter a try, and there will be no more "standard" Almond Nut Butter for me! This Octonuts MAPLE Almond Nut Butter has a smooth consistency. It's easy to work with, and the maple flavor is not overwhelming yet, as Goldilocks would say, "Just right." I am now a regular customer. (Octonuts has a Vanilla Almond Nut Butter too, that I will soon be trying.)

Delicious. My family loves it. Love putting it on toast along with a little grass-fed butter, and also in my smoothies.

I wasn’t sure how the almond butter maple was going to go… but it went fantastic. :) Seal was on and no leaks. A lot of oil was separated when I opened it and it took a lot of work in a mixing bowl to get it incorporated for the same consistency. That was fine since I was using it all in a recipe. It would not be practical for small daily use as it was so thick and solid in the center, a simple stir would not have fixed that and would certainly have been difficult to spread. I tasted it before baking with it and the maple flavor drowns out the nut flavor pretty much but pleasantly. It’s not a cloying maple taste, but just regular-bodied like a light maple syrup. Post cooking, it had no heavy nut flavor but the maple shone through. I’d be interested in trying the regular almond butter. This is not cheap, though; almond butter is still pricier than peanut butter. Pic is the finished recipe product. It was fabulous and got rave reviews. Here’s the recipe: 16 oz jar Octonuts almond maple butter 2/3 cup maple syrup 2 eggs 1 teaspoon baking powder 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) 1 cup chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life mini chips which makes it dairy and gluten free) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix everything but the chocolate chips in a bowl. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread in 9x13 pan. (I lined my pan with parchment paper.) Cook for about 22 minutes. Cool completely and then lift out of pan by parchment paper. Cut into bars. Can be refrigerated or frozen.

I liked the flavor and this is on me but I didn't realize before purchasing how much sugar was added. I wouldn't buy again, I'd look for something with less sugar.

So delicious and very spreadable although more on the loose side than thick . I haven’t had a better almond spread than this one. I eat it with an apple for lunch or a snack and it’s so satisfying!

Did not like the taste, way too sweet and almost had a caramel flavor.

This took a lot of elbow grease to mix it up. There were very hard and dry hunks, chunks of ground almonds at the bottom half of jar. By the time I got it all mixed, still with chunks of dry ground almond there was a little more than half a jar. Although the flavor of the maple almond butter was good I don’t think I’ll buy it again. I don’t want to work that hard for almond butter. I work hard on other things in my life.
