Disposable 2 oz Jello Shot Plastic Portion Cups with Lids, Clear Condiment Cups, Sampling Cup Pack of 500

I bought these to save a little money when making Jello Shots for events, and from the first moment I opened the package, I regretted doing so. The first problem was that lids were malformed. About the first 5-10 in each sleeve of 50 had one side completely flat or mangled so it would not snap on the cup. This alone bumps up the cost 2.5-5% more which makes it more costly than the previous style I purchased. The second and most frustrating problem is the lid itself. The lid is just as it looks, a flat lid. If you didn't know any better this is just fine, but it still would result in absolutely mind screwing Jello Avalanches. A Jello Avalanche is when you have your shots stacked 4, 5 or 6 high and the slightest movement causes one in the back to slide forward knocking the one in front of it forward and when it hits the top of the one in front of it it knocks it off and so on, causing an avalanche of jello shots out of the refrigerator and through your hands, onto the floor, breaking some, and popping the aforementioned improperly constructed lids off of others and jello is now all over the floor and some of cups are now broken as well. all of which again, increases the cost per jello shot, but now that's even more since there is the actual jello and alcohol in them. The other lid type I previously purchased is a slightly recessed flat lid that acts as a secure location to stack the next container on top of. This works similar to how stackable food storage containers sit upon each other. If you plan on stacking these even two high, I would advise against using this product for that. If you have other plans, then know that 2-5% of the lids could be defective as they were for me. If you don't need lids, then why would you be purchasing these with lids?

The reason I gave this product 4 instead of 5 stars was because I ordered 3 packs for 1500 total but when shipped, one pack was short 100 of the cups so I ended up getting 1500 lids and 1400 cups. Also, another reasons is due to user error but some of the lids stick together and it is very difficult to see when you accidentally put 2 lids on one cup. The seal was tight as some were flipped upside down and the liquid stayed inside. In the end, worked perfectly for my purpose of jello shots, but could be used for many different purposes.

Perfect little cups, the lids easily snaps on, keeping liquids safe inside. I use these for so many things all around my house, I keep them in the kitchen for condiments, in my craft room for beads and findings, in the garage for screws, bolts & washers. And of course, jello shots for parties.They come packaged in a large bag with long slender bags inside each holding 100 cups and lids.

These are the perfect Jello Shot cups - the cap goes on easily and stays closed. No more do I have cups that crumpled under the pressure of putting the lids on (If I had a nickle for every time that's happened) Great price too!!

I am happy with what I ordered it. I pack 6 ~ 7 lunch bags in a day for my family nutrition and it is great way to measure by using size of jello shot cups. Price is the catch too. LOL

These are great. However about 20 lids were misshapen or melted. Best price around and fast shipping. The rest of the lot were perfect easy to snap on and sealed shut with out spilling.

This is our second purchase. Great product and great price. The girls at the golf club love my wife's jello shots
