Great book, great graphics, photos and info.

Lovely book. My nephew was delighted. It is a piece of art in itself. Much admired at Christmas by all the family.

I love this book!

I bought this for my (rock star in waiting) brother and he seemed to like it. I had a flick through before wrapping, and it looked interesting.

I can assure everyone that all efforts were made to contact each artist whose work is reproduced in the book. Most of the time the efforts were successful, and the vast majority of these artists have given their permission. However, there are a few who were not contactable. But if anyone are in touch directly with an artist who hasn't been given due credit in the book, then would you please ask them to get in contact with the publishers, and this can be corrected on subsequent editions. Thanks

As a kid I remember the excitement of picking up a new record from Sound Warehouse, rushing home to put it on the turntable while spending hours looking through the artwork that lined the sleeves and especially the covers. Some of the greatest memories are from those days getting lost in that world of music and art. This is an amazing book for any fan of the metal genre or just all around lover of great album cover art from the classic rock and metal days! Beautiful pictures and great detailed information about how the bands chose the covers and artists that they did! I was hoping for a little more on some of my favorite covers from Judas Priest, Ozzy and Metallica, but I understand that you can’t literally talk about every album cover ever! Still a great book for any fan of not just the amazing music from the 70s and 80s but for lovers of all of the amazing art from those days as well.

stupendo libro, con introduzione di lemmy, non contiene moltissime grafiche, ma la selezione fatta da un maestro come lemmy che apprezza l'arte del cd, bisogna averla. Da grafico, consiglio a tutti di darci uno sguardo
