This is a good tool for keeping a catalogue of your ideas. It works for novels, screenplays, television scripts, and short stories.What would make this tool better is something simple. Rearrange the book so the pages appear like on the back cover. (See my picture.). It would be ideal for a Notes page to follow the Idea page that follows the One Page Outline. Instead the author grouped all the outlines together, all the note pages together, and all the idea pages together.My thought is as you are working on the One Page Outline and later get an idea, you can write it down on the Idea page (ideally located after the outline). As a historical fiction writer, I’m constantly researching or adding reminders which is perfect for theNotes page.One Page Outline, Ideas, Notes, in that order would have earned 5 Stars.

I like the layout of this book and I find it incredibly useful for sorting my different notes and ideas. Prior to this, they were in no particular order and things often got jumbled, even if it was for the same thing. The way I write my notes makes me wish there was more 'Note' room on both pages than one whole page being dedicated for 'Ideas,' but it still works. I haven't gotten around to using the 'One page outline' sections but they are a nice touch. There's just WAY too many of them. Over half of the book is dedicated to these and I think even people who use them would agree that's a bit ridiculous. I don't think they utilize the space all that well either.Aside from that one complaint, I think this is a great buy and if you're looking for something to gift a writer-or yourself-this isn't a bad choice. A regular notebook might do better but this is a good, fun second.

Waste of money. I should and could have just bought a lined notebook.

It is basic notebook, kind of decorative. There is a basic structuring plan but really there's nothing specific to develop one specific story. It's more of an idea notebook really

This is a handy notebook for writers. I keep my characters and plots straight thanks to this little gem.

Great little notebook with enough to get you motivated, yet not so much as to distract you from actually writing. The price was good and I will be getting lots of use out of this little gem.

My thoughts are usually all over the place, and by the time I want to write them down, I have notes everywhere. This notebook really helps.

My little brother loved receiving this notebook, it is great to help him make outlines for his book.

I really like this, but if the creator is reading and is thinking about a new edition: I’d like more space for notes and fewer pages for outlines (I have loads of notes, write fewer full outlines). It would also be really cool to have some pages dedicated to character outlines.

Really useful and definitely gives easy clarity to ideas. I am glad I bought it.

Its a great product for any budding novelist/writer for Ideas and structure.
