Delicious and relaxing. We love this citrus flavor though it is very subtle. Great alternative to tea or a drink at night to calm you.

Good alternative to help kick that urge to grab a boozy beverage at the end of a long day. My husband and I like this flavor and strawberry rose the best!

To keep this review brief, let me just say that I am on the spectrum and recently have noticed an uptick in meltdowns and shutdowns. This time of year is generally hard for me, mentally and emotionally, so that is not surprising in and of itself. But Recess Mood drinks are like a mental shift canned just for me. *The powder does not work as well for this purpose. That is better for the "restless legs" I can experience at night sometimes, especially if I have not intensely worked out recently.* Regardless, the canned Recess Mood drinks not only a) make me feel like someone put a cloud over my head, dulling aggressive "rumblings" or in-the-loop logic that is unhelpful, b) relax my body only just enough to make my shoulders not feel as tense, c) actually turn down the dial on my anger if I am upset about something, but d) truly can make the difference between me having a good day/night/whatever or an absolutely AWFUL one. I did read online that magnesium l-threonate is particularly good for autistic individuals so that could be one reason I personally find this so effective. I take many different herbs for many different things (I eschew actual medicine whenever possible) and the combination of magnesium, B6, and adaptogens in these canned drinks are a true winner for me. I just wish that they were not so expensive because, at this time of year, I basically need to drink one every day. And if anyone cares: I particularly like the Strawberry Rose (extra relaxing due to the rose!) and the Peach Ginger flavors. The Lime Citrus is a hit or miss with the good cans tasting rather like Sprite (which I don't drink anymore) and the not as good cans being kind of blah. The other flavors are fine but I generally try to buy the three that I listed, if given the option and the price is right.

A little pricey but will look for sales

I bought these as a better evening drink option, and they have helped me a lot. I have nearly stopped drinking alcohol, and having something like this around has made that change much easier. The Lime Citrus flavor is good, light, and refreshing without tasting like a fake energy drink or overly sweet soda. It gives me something to crack open in the evening that still feels like a “drink,” but without alcohol. That alone has been a big deal for me. Since making the switch, my sleep has been better, my mood has been better, and I just feel better overall. I am not saying this is some magic cure-all, but for me, replacing alcohol with these has been a very positive change. The magnesium and adaptogen angle is a nice bonus, but the real value for me is that it helped me build a healthier routine. If you are looking for something relaxing, non-alcoholic, and actually enjoyable to drink at night, this is worth trying.

Recess Mood is one of those drinks that’s easy to reach for when you need a breather. I ordered this & was so excited and a whole row of 3 got busted and all dented up and had leaked different varied amounts. I went to request a replacement of those 3 cans since it’s expensive and I like them… and it’s not eligible. Either package it better or make it where people can get replacements??? It’s an expensive drink to just be screwed. I have photos to prove as well. Disappointed in customer service & packaging. The one one the right corner got it the worst.
