Czech Military Army Surplus M60 Aluminum Canteen Water Bottle Flask and Cover

I am using it as a theater prop and it looks great on stage. Nicely made and authentic looking, especially for the price. The actual container is made of plastic. The plastic stopper just pops on and off, so not sure it would be good for hiking. But for easy access of liquid contents, it is great.

This is my work water bottle and I use it almost daily and it’s great except for the fact that the wool sleeve is too small to button up the whole way.

Nearly paid double for this from a surplus dealer. I'm not sure how I feel about surplus gear showing up on Amazon. Do we want that? Regardless, it's in great shape and it's little wool coat fit nicely. Sometimes they don't.

I kinda wish I had gotten the cork stopper one but no real complaints its a nice add to a collection

It's a little smaller than I expected , but otherwise it looks ecatly what I expected , it does it's job well.

This was almost perfect for me. It looked great, was big enough, and did not have a strange taste after I washed it out. However I put this in my bag and everything got soaked. I had to stop using it but I’m going to see if I can find a way to seal it better for the future.

The canteen itself is rather well made. Mine arrived in good condition, no dents or anything like that. The cork didn’t last long but that’s easy to replace. One downside is it doesn’t keep water cold for that long, but water doesn’t get too warm either. Worth the purchase in my opinion.

My dad had bought this for me I was needing a ww1 German canteen but I couldn’t find any I decided to buy this. I was hoping for a cork top but I got a plastic one. But that’s fine it has a small hole in the bottom that I have to fix it’s also microscopic the wool cover is amazing I did shave the loose wool. If you want to get a more WW2 style I would keep the leather on for me I took it off. This is 100% going to keep my water cold or warm if I decide to boil it for food. It came in 2 days great shipping It was a little dirty on the inside. Got vinegar soda salt water came right out I think it is so cool that this is an original canteen I will be using this for my German impression or hiking or exploring a oil rink in New Mexico it’s great I will be recommending I absolutely love this canteen!
