I love this brand of pencils. I started using them when i bought the first set of 72 colors. I loved them so much that I decided to buy this bigger 120 set with the zipper case. They blend like butter and in my opinion are comparable to prismacolor in the way they lay down their color. They're highly pigmented and blend smoothly if you apply in layers as colored pencils should be applied. The color selection is great in this set with plenty of tones & shades in each color family range. The case is great quality and zips up nicely. Keeps everything together and protected. The sketch book and coloring book are a nice bonus, but I can't say enough good things about these colored pencils! These are My favorite brand to use next to my prismacolor pencils and I've been using those for years, so I know a little about colored pencils and quality. I often use these in combination with my prismacolor pencils to broaden my color range a little, and they even blend well with those (a lot of brands won't blend with prismacolor at all). I just love them so much!! The fact that I paid less than $30 for this set of 120 colors makes me super happy about my purchase and only wish they sold their colors individually so I dont have to buy a whole set when one or two colors are used up. Still worth the price all the way! I highly recommend this brand and will be watching to see if they come out with a bigger set because I'll definitely want to get those too! If you're looking for an excellent, affordable, high quality set of colored pencils, this one is definitely the way to go! As for the reviewers complaining of breakage, I have no problems sharpening these in a cheap manual sharpener or in my battery powered sharpener. It's all about how you sharpen them and how you treat your pencils. If you drop them and break the core, they'll continue to break when sharpened, so be gentle and you won't have that problem. Any experienced colored pencil user knows this.

Nice set of colored pencils. There is a nice variety of colors and shades. It is easy to find just the color shade you need. The pencils are in a flip-able sturdy page. They are very smooth when you use them. Each pencil is numbered, which is great to have. For the money, it is a great set. I have two complaints. 1. The zippered storage case. When you open it flat, the end of the zipper slider slips under the top of the zipper. When you go to close it and zip it, you have to poke your fingers under the zipper to dig out the zipper slider. You can get it out, but it is a pain to have to do it each time. The handle flips itself back in the case as you are zipping it. You have to stop and pull it out again. This may stop doing this over time. 2. It doesn't come with a colorless blender. It does have a white pencil, so if you blend with white then you won't miss it. But if you use a colorless blender, you will have to buy a separate one. If you do buy one, there is no spot for it in the storage case. It would have to just lay in the middle.

Based on the low price and having not ever heard of this brand of colored pencils I was skeptical of what their quality would be, but I admit that I was pleasantly surprised by their good quality, speaking from a non-professional artist point of view. The variety of different colors is perfect, the colors themselves are highly pigmented and they have a nice, soft, almost creamy feel to them when coloring. They're easily blended and layer with each other pretty well, also. Based on their low price I'd say this pencil set is really a steal considering Faber Castle and Artist Loft pencils that are of the same quality, or even of a lesser quality imo, cost between $1.50-$2 each, at Michaels. Plus you get a nice, convenient carrying case free with these pencils!! You really can't beat this deal anywhere!!

These are great! Bought 4 sets - 1 for each kid and one for myself. They are cute sets with lots of variety with colored pencils crayons and markers and oil paints. They are Christmas gifts and I can’t wait til we sit and color together

from a well-known brand to a less established option, beginning with a "Cray" prefix. The difference in quality is significant, and I find this to be an exceptional value for the level of craftsmanship and performance offered.I’m left-handed and tried several companies to not get the rainbow hand always smears, but this one doesn’t. Plus, the colors are way more vibrant fills in the white a lot better and colors are very fun to use. I’m giving it four stars because the book’s way too small and honestly, it doesn’t feel necessary if I was the company I would focus more on the pencils such a extended selection on colors as well however I do find myself sharpening them more often that could just be me I have very big hands but the price is Justified and I have paid triple for pencils that don't even come close to this quality I'm highly impressed and recommend it thank you ..

What a great giftable item. The durability of the case that holds these items, the color variety and the value for money- spot on. I bought this set as a gift and had it shipped. I personally don't have tangible feedback, however, I can share the feedback I received from the person in which I gifted it to. SHE LOVED THIS SET.
