Hard, and very uncomfortable. Yes, it relieves pressure in some areas but puts pressure on others so that the overall experience is unpleasant. Will return if not too late to send it back.

I purchased this because I recently had the “removal” surgery. It does help alleviate the pain, I just am not able to determine how to make the cushion “cool” as I don’t want to stick the whole unit into my fridge or freezer.

This was a little hard. I don't use it often.

Bought this for my 91 year old friend. She wished she would have had it a long time ago. She sits in a wheel chair and it takes the pressure off of her tailbone. Absolutely would recommend.
