We love this product. Would normally purchase from the Asian market but they were having difficulty getting it.

I always rely on this sushi rice flavoring for quick sushi rice.I can adjust easily for the amount of rice I want to make,Don't have to organize liquid vinegar, sugar, salt, etc.... Just mix and ready.When I want to use on cold rice, I heat the rice in microwave so the sushi powder can get mixed in much betterand evenly.

This powdered vinegar mixture is perfect for making amateur sushi. Generally, I use this combined with bottled sushi vinegar and the result is pretty close to good restaurant quality. My wife is super critical of the rice at sushi restaurants and the fact that she likes mine a lot is both a function of good flavor, but also love!IMO, the best ratio for this powder is about 2 tablespoons per cooked cup of rice. I wouldn't use more, but definitely would use less if the rice comes out too flavored for your taste. I use a mellow bottled sushi vinegar along with this powder so I generally use less of it.

The cannot mess this up sushi rice seasoning mix. Just cook the rice (4 servings or so) then sprinkle the envelope’s contents on top. Fold it into the rice and viola’! You are ready to top it up with raw fish or crab sticks or even some salmon roe or tobiko!

This makes the rice taste really good but the measurements seem to be a little off or confusing. Please use caution when portioning how much you put on your rice.

My sushi is always poplular at potlucks and parties. No one knows I use this product. Shh...
