At first, I was concerned that the sisal might be too rough on the skin. But after following the instructions to soak it in hot water before use, the fibers softened noticeably, making it much gentler and more comfortable during the shower. It still provides a good exfoliation, but without irritation. The design is well thought-out, including a pouch for bar soap, which makes lathering more effective. It’s durable, dries quickly, and feels natural in the hand much better than synthetic sponges or plastic scrubbers. I've been getting more serious about my grooming and bathing rituals as I've been getting older, and I recently decided that I would go out and get a really good loofah. My bathroom only has the basics right now, which includes a shampoo and a bodywash I use to bathe, and towels I'll use to dry off afterwards, but I didn't really have any good cleaning tools for my body before. I went onto Amazon and looked for a good eco-friendly loofah option, and I picked the Ecotupia Loofah because it looked like the best bang for the buck. I also liked the design, and was curious to see what it was all about. It shipped to me quickly, and to my happy surprise, it looks the same in real life as it does in the photos! The size is also perfect for me, as I can grip these with one hand or both hands if I want. These Loofahs also open up so you can get some soap wet and use it to clean yourself and wipe off dead skin cells at the same time. Going from nothing to properly cleaning myself with this has been nothing short of an amazing upgrade! The texture and materials used in the loofah are perfect for me and don't seem to irritate my skin after using them. It might not be obvious from the way the product is titled or from the pictures, but you actually get two loofahs with this order, not just one, and they both come neatly packaged in this nice little carrying case. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these guys going forward, thanks for the quality product!

I love that these are handmade and eco-friendly. The loofah will definitely exfoliate whatever needs exfoliating, though I am not sure i want to use this on my face. I am using this loofah with body wash, and it does not lather well. I know I am clean because you will feel properly scrubbed after using this, but I personally like to get sudsy when I'm in the shower. This may work better with bars of soap, and seems designed for that My only other complaint is the disk shape does not lend itself to a comfortable or intuitive way to hold this, I guess there's no wrong way either. As many have mentioned, the fiber loss is real, although my experience hasn't been as drastic as some of the photos shown. I think the thing here is to be gentle with yourself when you use this. You don't have to scrape yourself with it, the loofah is rough enough to do the work on its own. Overall, this is a mostly good product.

I bought the 2 pack, which came in a very neat bag. Inside had the two loofas, instructional phamplet which also had some very neat facts about the company and the material of the loofas. I always enjoy learning more about the products I purchase and they came through for that. A neat surprise included in my purchase was a bamboo toothbrush. It's lightweight and high quality. Speaking of quality, these loofas are legit. Very easy to use, and feels amazing to on skin . They're larger than I expected and the hole for soap is extremely convenient.

I really liked this sponge. It’s firm but not too harsh—perfect for gentle exfoliation. You can tell it’s made from high-quality natural materials. I use it with bar soap and it leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I’d definitely buy it again!

This thing is so horrible. You could literally use this to scrape bark off a tree.
