I ordered one of these for my son. He kept checking all day whether it has arrived - so excited! It arrived and didn’t work unless the battery cover was unscrewed slightly (not very safe for a small boy!) and even then not reliably. I submitted that one for return and ordered another straight away because there were so many tears of disappointment. The second one arrived today, and doesn’t work unless you press the battery cover really hard - harder than a child could easily manage. Again only intermittently then. More floods of tears, because this one has to go back too. He says that the people who sell it “must not care about kids at all”. I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying it!

Bought two as cheap little Halloween gifts, but only one worked. Think the wiring quality is a little lacking. The sounds are fun though.

Great sounds well made a fantastic novelty

A nice gift for child, especially when the unit is on offer. Compared to other makes, the sound is not the best. Sound is woolly and indistinct. Nevertheless, as a toy, this keeps children entertained for a spell.

This did not work unless you pressed the battery compartment really hard, sad as the sounds were quite good if you got it to work.

My wife loves a sound box and this one is her current favourite!

Item is good for what it is although a little pricey but it arrived and did not work as the batteries inside were all corroded so I also had to go to the cost of new batteries so cost me even more!! Do not recommend this product.

It was quite hard to find a spooky sounds machine which I remember from my youth being pretty commonplace. honestly, I read Halloween story books with my little nephew, and I wanted some sound effects for fun. although we make sound effects too. every sound effect machine I looked up was like something you'd PLAY outside, and I called Spirit Halloween too. But I wanted the little single-noise buttons, you know like a radio play. The sounds are pretty good! and how cute is the little ghost! I think it's maybe from the UK or Europe, so I'm very happy I found it online. I adore it and I love Halloween.

Lots of sounds (16), vary in quality, some a bit muddy and not that loud. A bit pricey but fun anyway.
