Should've gotten this sooner!
I knew I had a quality product on my hands when I noticed the rubber strip just in front of the clamp's hinge. As far as I can tell, its only purpose is protecting the clamp's spring, preventing anything from getting pinched in there. It has nothing to do with basic functionality, or with advertised features. It just makes the product better. This isn't one of those products where you wish the manufacturer had spent an extra nickel on better components; nor where you take it out of the packaging and realize that it was designed to just barely fulfill the letter of its features but not their spirit. You know that feeling when you get a pair of headphones and the "integrated playback controls" are a single button that recognizes various sequences of short and long presses? Or a camera that advertises 240 FPS but it turns out that it records at 30 FPS and then inserts seven extra copies of each frame? This, by contrast, is a good product. A maximum viable product, if you will, rather than a minimum viable product. I'm very happy with it. Here are some details that you may be wondering about. First, the clamp tension securely holds a phone without crushing it in a death grip. As shown in the photos, a phone can be placed in two positions: near the front of the clamp, and behind the second set of "teeth." This is useful if you have - here's detail two - a phone with a thick battery case. The first position holds a phone of average thickness perfectly, and a very thick phone very passably. If you want more peace of mind, though, you can move the phone a bit rearwards so that its front is held by the first position's rear teeth. Those teeth may cover a tiny portion of the phone's screen (given modern narrow bezels), but that's part of what guarantees their secure hold. Third, the ball joint connecting the clamp to the gooseneck is perfectly serviceable. It's easy to tighten and loosen, easy to adjust when loose, and firm enough when tight. If you have a really heavy phone, though - or if you put one phone off to one side in the first position and another toward the opposite side in the second, like I do, because I sometimes want a miniature dual-monitor setup - it tends to sag even when hand-tight. I can't fault it for this, because 1) that's not a reasonable load, 2) you can just let it sag and then adjust the gooseneck a bit higher to compensate, and 3) increasing the load capacity would need a whole new design, not a simple/obvious fix. Even though it's not a negative, it's a good detail to know about. Fourth, the gooseneck itself: if you're not trying to bend it, it won't bend. If you are trying to bend it, it will bend. Pretty much the perfect level of tension. Fifth, the base clamp: padded jaws that won't mar furniture, and the knob to open and close them is that entire plastic tube that extends out of the base, making it easy and comfortable to adjust. Sixth, the stability of the whole contraption: as good as can be. The gooseneck's rigidity means that very little wobble comes from the product itself. Mounting conditions are more important: mine is on my bed's headboard, which extends upward without extra support - that can wobble before I even attach anything to it. One solution is to mount it at the lowest point of the headboard, but my solution (see photos) is to adjust the gooseneck so that it rests against the wall with just a bit of tension. This cuts down any wobbling to virtually nothing. Note that I have a bit of plastic around the part that contacts the wall, to minimize wear on the wall as well as on the gooseneck's braided nylon. If you use your phone in a desktop stand, pick up your phone (yes, now) and hold it up where you wish it could be instead of on your desk. Those of you now muttering "but I want it on my desk" are all set. The rest of you would probably benefit from this gooseneck holder.

Well made
First, my intent on buying this was to mount on a baby grand piano and be able to do video lessons with students. My concerns when buying it were: 1. How strong the goose neck would be? I have goose neck mic stands and the goose necks do not hold in position anything very heavy. Nor do they hold their shape very well. This holder seems well made and of solid construction. The goose neck portion is VERY strong and feels like a solid piece of steel rod. It takes much more effort to bend than a normal mic stand goose neck. It does hold its shape very well. 2. How would it attach to the piano. I did not want something that would damage the finish but hold tightly. The clamping mechanism is easy to adjust and tighten down. The clamp itself has some rubber pads that keep it from scratching the piano. 3. Will the phone clamp securely hold the phone when placed facing down. The clamp is strong enough to securely hold the phone in any position. There are a couple ridged areas that you will want to make sure the phone is behind to make it secure. Now for a few "take note of" points. 1. The piano is on wooden floor joist and not a concrete floor. While playing or even walking around the piano there is some "bouncing" of the piano. It is not a whole lot, but it is there. This causes some bouncing and movement of the holder and phone. It is not so much due to the holder but on what it is attached. I might have to move it to a stand on the floor, but it also bounces some. I will need to check to see how much it affects the view by the student. 2. Dialing "911". I have an iPhone which has the capability to dial 911 when pressing the side buttons together. Be careful not to clamp the clamp over these two buttons. Also, do not press these buttons while trying to put the phone in the clamp. You can either take note of this while inserting the phone or simply turn off this feature on the phone. The later was my choice after accidentally dialing 911. Otherwise, good quality and price. Sturdy. I can see it working for multiple scenarios and applications.

I love this and I accept its flaws cause it's worth it
So I ordered my first one 2/9/24 Then the neck snapped so I bought another one 3/29/25. And the neck is about snapped (see photo) and in ordering another one right now 6/29/25 The last one lasted a bit longer because I did my best to not bend it at the base as much as possible but the metal will eventually snap. It's unfortunate that it's inevitable. I did think about getting a piece of PVC pipe to extend the black neck part so it would bend in a different area and maybe make it last a bit longer but I didn't get around to it. The first one I got the neck snapped after about 6 months so I clipped the broken end in the clip part (see other photo) because both ends still work. I have tried other ones but this one is just so perfect. But what makes it perfect is it's ability to bend - and the bad part is the fact that it bends lol 😅 But for 20 bucks and a year of use I'll take it **It's attached to the window cause Im recovering from surgery so I'm on my lounge chair and it's the perfect place. Its also a great example of it's versatility. (Don't judge my window - I have a clowder of cats, it's their house I just live here lol)

Just What I Needed
Works great when I sit at my desk and on my night stand. It does take some muscle to reshape it but that's why it's so sturdy and stays in place. Clamp is strong on surface and other clamp for phone is easy to use, takes little effort and holds phone really well. Very happy with purchase!

Impressed!
I bought this because I want to start creating social media content and needed a phone holder. Not only was the price right (on sale for under $25), but many reviews had praise. The gooseneck part is hard, stable, and somewhat difficult to bend. Some people may see that as an issue, but I see the difficult to bend part as a GOOD thing since it means the mount won’t flop around while holding my phone facedown. It easily held my iPhone 16 Pro (it’s heavier than my previous iPhone) with a case and a pop socket. I was worried about the case and pop socket being an issue (meaning, not fitting properly), but they aren’t…not at all! I haven’t actually recorded anything, yet; I simply tested it out for a few minutes just to make sure it would hold my phone facedown, which it did. The facedown angle is what I was looking for in a phone holder, as I will be recording a close-up shot of working with my hands, and this product delivered exactly that. Also, I didn’t encounter any problems attaching it to my desk. I’m recording my first video tomorrow (around 15-20 minutes long). If I experience any issues, I will edit my review accordingly. For now, I highly recommend this phone holder!

Poor Quality, Defective Build, and Terrible Value – Save Your Money
I was extremely disappointed with this phone holder from the moment I opened the box. It arrived looking like it had either been previously returned or had very poor quality control during manufacturing. The first thing I noticed was that one of the rubber pads from the base clamp had already fallen off and was loose inside the packaging. I figured it wasn't a huge issue and glued it back into place myself. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the problems. After attaching the holder securely to my headboard, I noticed the plastic coating on the flexible arm was already peeling away near the base. When I removed it for a closer inspection, I discovered the clamp itself was cracked in two different places. It was shocking to see a brand-new product in such poor condition. Even if mine hadn't arrived damaged, the design has several major flaws. The base clamp is simply too weak to provide a secure grip on most surfaces. I tried attaching it to tables, desk edges, chair arms, my bed frame, and several other locations around the house, but none of them provided a stable mounting point. The clamp either didn't open to the right size or failed to hold tightly enough to support the weight of the phone. The adjustable ball joint is another weak point. No matter how much I tightened it, it wouldn't lock firmly into position, so the phone constantly shifted whenever I adjusted the arm. That made it difficult to keep the phone at the viewing angle I wanted. The flexible gooseneck is also disappointing. Ironically, it's both too stiff and not practical. It takes a lot of force to bend into position, yet once adjusted it doesn't provide the stability I expected. The arm also isn't very long, limiting where the phone can actually be positioned. After trying to make it work, the arm ended up bent into awkward shapes that were difficult to straighten again. Customer service and the return policy were equally frustrating. Requiring customers to pay return shipping and then waiting for the seller to decide whether a refund is deserved doesn't inspire much confidence. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in and issued a refund in my case, but I would have preferred not to deal with the hassle at all. Overall, this product is poorly made, poorly designed, and simply doesn't perform as advertised. Between the defective construction, weak clamp, unstable joints, and frustrating return process, I can't recommend it. I eventually replaced it with an articulating arm mount from another brand, and it has been a much better experience. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Decent For a Month
At first, this product was fantastic. It was sturdy and clipped easily onto my side table to hold my phone for me after carpal tunnel surgery. However, this style of phone holder can only last so long. The weight of the phone eventually wears down the flexible tubing that lets you bend it to different angles. In my case, it could no longer support the weight of my iPhone 16 after about a month and just flopped down all the way. As for the company: the return process was convoluted. I had to email Lamicall outside of Amazon, and they wanted photo and video proof that it no longer worked before they'd move forward with a return. In the end, I let them keep the money. Jumping through those hoops wasn't worth my time.

Great for recording table videos
I use this to hold my phone to record nail videos! I love it so far. The clamp for the table is super secure and doesn't move too much when you adjust the neck. The clamp for your phone is also super easy to attach and detach your phone as well. I also love how easy it is to change around the phone position too. Worth the purchase

Buen agarre y flexibilidad.
