I ordered XL. Based on the size chart these should have worked. I wear a woman's 7.5 W size shoe Unfortunately the toeless foot was way too long. (See photos) The ankle should have fit well, but was a bit too tight and bunched. I measured the height per the instructions as well, yet the stockings were a few inches over the knee area. I would have been OK folding them down ( not ideal) but the too big foot is not something you can work around. I was disappointed. The stockings looked to be made well. The wide calf was awesome. Really wish they also realized the shoe size also matters.

I wasted so much money on different brands of compression socks supposedly sized for "wide calves", but none of them were big enough. Thank God for Jomi compression socks. I can wear my wide calf socks all day and I don't get any binding sensation below the knee or any slipping down or "segmentation" of the sock. How refreshing!! Finally a company that truly knows the needs of its customers with larger legs! If you are having trouble getting compression socks to fit your wide calves, try the Jomi brand. You'll be happy too!!

These are nice stockings. The wide calf style is hard to find; the short wide calf Is even harder. I used the size chart. The ankle measurement is more important. Mine was on the cusp and I ordered down These fit just right; they’re comfortable and easy to don and remove. I use them to reduce swelling which causes dermatitis on my legs.I’m rating the stockings, not the photo which is misleading. The stockings are surgical weight and opaque and much darker. There’s a reinforced area about 2 inches wide above the toe band. I’m vain enough to think twice about wearing them in public.

I followed the measurements exactly and bought the size recommended. It was way too big in the calf area. It offered no support because it was so large and kept falling down. I’d suggest buying one size down.

I ordered these stockings for an 8-hour flight trip by my 90 year-old mother. After checking the size guide, I selected "small" for her; she is 5'3", 125 lbs with 14" calf. The stockings were so loose on her that they didn't stay up. I lent her mine and I used the Jomi stockings for the trip. I'm 5'7", 165 lbs, and they shouldn't have fit me at all. They did, but would not stay up due to poor elastic. Further, the compression strength is not as advertised. I wonder who could have written the two 5-star reviews for this product.

These socks were so wide they just slid down my legs n bunched up around my ankles. LOL I bought them n saved them for a trip. By the time I got back home it was too late to return them. I didn't think about doing the return while I was on vacation LOL !!!

Good quality feel great would buy again

These compression socks were fairly easy to put on and fit pretty well. They are a little long in the toe but fit well over my calf. I just ordered more. Wish they were made just a little smaller in length and in colors.

At last! I've found an off the shelf compression stocking that actually fits my small foot and large but short leg. I suffer with lymphoedema in both legs but the CCG in my area don't seem non cancer related lymphoedema to be worthy of NHS help so I gave noone to fit made to measure. So far so good with these ones - impressed!

Very good value and quality and very generous sizes would need to order size down.
