Easy to use, great heat, can't wait to use for cooking

You need a griddle - we all do. If you have the space for Blackstone's larger model by all means go for it - but if you're not sure you need a 36" griddle or maybe don't have the space for one that large then this is your solution. Important stuff --- the gas tubes - compare these to the competition and you'll see this one has a much better design for even heat distribution. The cold rolled steel griddle is great, seasoned up nicely and cooks great. Look at the underside of this griddle plate vs the competition and you'll see this one really is designed much better than the others - again this one has much better heat distribution. I've had mine for a little more than a week now - have made steak, chicken, breakfast, chicken and pork fried rice, several variants of potatoes, hot dogs and brats, and even wings. No complaints from my family, they want me to use it every day! Listen, when your spouse approves and you don't have to beg forgiveness since those of us well past the 1/4 century of marriage milestone know forgiveness is easier than permission - you've picked a winner. Get one - order it now, order the tools, order a 12" dome, order the lid, and a cart or stand. You'll be glad you did.....if you've got a grill (charcoal I hope), and a smoker (offset stickburner I hope), then you NEED this to finish off your cooking stations. I highly recommend this product!

Very well built. Does have of a lower heat in the middle as the two burners are on each end. Still a great unit. Still give it 5 stars for its ease of setup and use. I did buy a longer regulator to reach my propane tank as I don’t want to use the small one pound cans. Works great.

Here ya go... I buy a ton of stuff for camping and cooking, I have stoves galore from 30 years in the woods. For something for a basecamp this thing is awesome. I cooked for a ton of people on it this weekend, bacon, burgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese with cold cuts, sausage, this is your grandmother's black iron skillet gone mobile. You aren't going to pack it very far, it is heavy, but this is very easy to store away and pull out for cook out, tailgating, easy setup at camp. There are several accessories that just compliment it so nicely, I can barely contain myself. Poke around at my other reviews. Update: So I ended up reading the other reviews from several people, and was a bit unhappy on some of the negativity. So in my update thought I would give you this griddle's latest story. First, ANY cast iron product you buy usually has scratch marks or weld marks on it. Second, They also come with a layer of protective oil on it under the plastic, sticky and kinda nasty agreed, however that way it isn't an actual rusty mess from the factory. That said, just as the manual says, wash with hot soppy water, clean with a salt polish, season 4-8 times. They have videos on their website, VERY clear instructions in the manual for first use! Third, I have 3 Blackstones in various sizes, 2 of them have been out with nothing but the cover on them the other commonly has to face the elements while camping. I barely get any rust ever, and it is an easy clean up to re-season if I do. Blackstone also sells a very good maintenance kit, which outlines very clearly when to use each of the parts in it to not only prevent but fix many of these issues. When I read some reviews, all I could think was your grandma taught you nothing. Finally, I have really enjoyed all 3 of my products, not to mention their support was out of this world for the couple of things I did have to address none were major issues. If you follow their written/video/the other hundreds of users that post videos, you will have an awesome cast iron product that will most likely never go bad. GO TEAM BLACKSTONE!

Got this at a great price, and the size is perfect for even a pretty big spread for a crowd. I decided to buy it solo and added my own cart due to reviews stating the all-in-one model suffers stability issues due to weak legs, and it appeared they were accurate. I strongly advise adding wind guards; the magnetic ones I bought are perfect- along with a guard for the grease port so you don't lose food through that escape hatch. Both are low priced and highly effective! Between my SIL and I, we do quite a bit of cooking. He started with the 17", but found it lacking since he loves cooking for the entire gang every time we have a family gathering. I opted for this 22" model, and find it perfect: Easy to handle, simple to transport, yet enough surface to crank out plenty 'o eats at a good clip. SIL just bought the 4 burner model for the 4th, but that was so he could feed the small army of guests we had. It fits in his Honda van, but takes up pretty much the entire cargo area! Me, I'm happy right where I'm at with this one. This griddle is an awesome addition to our Weber grill, and both have their place depending on what you crave. I absolutely have nothing but good thoughts every time I think about this purchase, and believe you'll do the same.

Bought to use with the camper. Easily stores and very easy to set up and use. Heats up great and after you season it a bit the cooking just gets better and better. I highly recommend this product to any campers out there and even for at home use too. I also highly recommend finding a carrying bag set.

Honestly it's a lot of work owning blackstone, but i love it enough to put the extra work in, that being said you go through lots of oil and lots of paper towel, doesn't even come with case or bag though
